ideas for party bag fillers for 16 year olds

we are being silly.
DS3 is having a "leavers' party" at home on Sat with his best mates (boys & girls) and he doesn't know, but we want to surprise them party bags as a joke, precisely because it's not something teenagers get at this age. just some silly stuff to make them smile, nothing serious or personalised.
we know some of them fairly well and I think they will appreciate it.

I don't want to make it too childish but so far we've bought glow-in-the-dark necklaces & balloons, bubble blowers, candy bracelets and popping candy.
not sure what else we could add, I'm looking for a few more silly or quirky stuff.
any ideas?

Those little yellow rubber people with stretchy legs and arms. Or those insects/octopus that you throw at a wall and they creep back down. Or some of those pencil toppers which are woodpeckers on a spring with a feathery head?

What was the 'must have' when they were in primary? For me it was gel pens and butterfly clips, and I'd still be delighted to get some!

onepieceoflollipop · 23/05/2021 23:30

Freddo bars

Happymum12345 · 23/05/2021 23:34

I think if you could take some Polaroid photos of the party and add th to the bags, it gives them something to remember the night by.

UpTheJunktion · 23/05/2021 23:35

Floating toys and mini water pistols for the hot tub

Marcipex · 23/05/2021 23:37

What an absolutely lovely idea OP, you sound a fabulous mummy! What about something along the lines of friendship bracelets or those funny rubber wrist band things you can have things printed on? My niece (16) and all her friends love anything like that and refuse to take them off for months. The older and more disgusting they get, the better 😂 Also regarding party hats, my sister gave out light up flower crowns at her DD’s 18th and everyone loved them! They were only cheap from Amazon but looked great.
I also think disposable cameras are a fantastic idea!
Hope they all have a wonderful time 😊
