Costa Coffee

What is your favourite order? I'm looking for inspiration. I love my Costa but have to say I'm getting bored after years of ordering the same, small white latte with premium blend. I'm after a similar taste but with a kick. Maybe a syrup added or just something different.

Latte with a flavoured syrup is lovely. Hazelnut is my favourite.
A cappuccino has one more extra espresso shot in than a latte if you want something stronger, also lovely with caramel in! That's with frothy milk.
A cortardo is a shorter drink, like a mini latte but stronger.
A flat white is my go to- its milky and only comes in small size and has three shots of espresso.

So if that's a cortado and a latte, what's a flat white? I thought cortados were really small, I'm so confused!

Also, I'm quite fancying an oat milk coffee now but doesn't it go all curdly? I think the taste would be lovely but I'm not sure about the texture.

@ShipshapeShore a flat white is between a cortado and a latte. More steamed milk than a cortado but not as much as a latte.

Isn't a flat white like a latte but with a smaller amount of milk foam?

This morning I took the plunge and asked for a latte with a shot of vanilla and it was lush!!

Today has been a good day 😁.

Thanks for all your advise and tips. Now I'm a bit more confident who knows what I'll ask for next (as long as it's not a white latte) 😂😂

I don't want to rain on your parade OP, but the calories can very quickly add up if you regularly have a cow's milk latte with added syrup. I switched to almond milk as I was drinking around three a day - some decaff - and realised it was around 1000 calories in coffees every day!

A chai latte is nice occasionally but very very sweet.

I'm an americano with a dash of cold milk. I always think 'right, I'm going to have one of these fancy seasonal things', get to the counter and ask for an americano with a dash of cold milk. I find lattes a bit milky so a bit sickly which scares me off anything else.

I love the black forest hot chocolate from Costa but they only do those in the run up to Christmas.

Yes I was thinking this. I do get a flabby tummy after drinking a few lattes so I always pull it back and drink green tea for few days but then I really crave a morning Costa 😳

I have a medium vanilla latte, with half the normal amount of vanilla because its too sweet otherwise

Off the top of my head, Leeds, Brum, Manchester, there will be more. Either Central Perk or Disney themed.

Americano with hot milk on the side. In the summer, iced Americano with a dash of cold milk. I like coffee to taste of coffee.

You can buy Chai powder in the supermarket - the one in the pink tub is nicest. Make it at home with steamed milk and its no different.
