Seems a while since I watched this at school in the 90s.

It would be a bit more interesting if they all hated each other.
It’s going to be all gushy and a bit nauseating probably.!

I’m really looking forward to this and glad it’s not a new episode. I can’t stop thinking about how different Jennifer Anniston looked though, she was so beautiful I’d have loved to have seen how beautiful she’d still look without having had so much work done. Lisa Kudrow and Matt Le Blanc to me seemed to have changed the least dramatically, they still look like they did when they were younger apart from a few more wrinkles. I think it’s a shame some of them have been so concerned about keeping away wrinkles that they’ve lost their facial expressions to the point that they no longer look like themselves. They look great in photos but strange when animated. Sorry to go on about looks but I just find it strangely upsetting seeing them that way.

I loved friends and it still surprises me the number of people (much younger than me) who watch it. My DD calls it her 'comfort watch' when she is poorly. However, I do think it really needs to stay in the 1990's. I know it is the actors meeting up but I don't really want to see a 'fat Joey' (sorry Matt) and watch them all gushing about themselves. Lots of things worked on friends - the script, the set, the fashion...it was a thing of it's time.

Goodness people in their 50s looking like their in their 50s it really isn't that horrific is it ?

They don't just look like they're in their 50s though they look odd as they've had so much work done.

They all look fucked up.

LK looks the most normal of them all.

Such a shame, they have this platform and for me at least it's going to be marred by their dodgy surgeries.

Lisa and Matt don't look like they've had any work done but the others look a bit odd. I'm happy that Richard and Janice are billed, but totally agree with comments about James Corden.....just, why???

I know I think this is how it makes me feel watching it too! Although it’s different if you’re just an average person I suppose, particularly if you’ve never been or considered yourself to be beautiful. There is nothing to lose by getting older really. I suppose it must be so hard when your looks are so scrutinised and important to your career. I expect JA got lots of work done ahead of this reunion as she wasn’t looking like this a few years ago. It would just be so nice to see people in the public eye looking like themselves but older. If it’s so obvious you’ve had work done then surely that defeats the point of it. It’s to be expected you’re going to look older. The three women clearly take excellent care of themselves and their bodies, I’m sure they’d still look amazing if they didn’t have any surgery and at least they’d look real and like themselves.

Lisa Kudrow being a case in point in terms of what I said at the end of my last post. And also, @JustJoinedRightNow I hope you don’t take what I said at the start to be about you as I quoted you, I’m not suggesting you’re just an average person and for all I know you are stunningly beautiful, I was referring to myself in that part!

It will be shown in the U.K. on sky tv from the 27th - by that time we'll all know the ins and outs of it mind.

Yeah, it's kind of freaking me out seeing them all like that. Ageing is pretty scary

CC looks gorgeous but the mouth is jokeresque.. I would say MP not well. Not easy to do this with all the commentary that will undoubtedly come with it.

Hahaha @Tianatiers totally fine! That’s what I mean though, I’m average looking and not a stunner, I probably look dreadful now (especially after having kids and letting myself go a bit) compared to when I was 20!

I just feel a bit sorry for all the work they’ve had done, and I loved Chandler but Matthew Perry now just looks sad. On top of the news story recently where that lady who matched with him on that dating website released private videos - I feel bad for him now.

I agree, Matthew Perry looks so unwell.
Recovering addicts can look like that, but it looks like something more serious. Like he’s currently on something or had a stroke?

I heard that Matthew Perry had slurred speech but until I watched the Video linked I couldn’t pass judgment...it definitely suggests some kind of health issue, maybe something neurological. It’s nice that they all stay in touch.

In terms of their appearance, I guess it’s no win. If they have work done, everyone comments on it. Otherwise everyone will say how they’ve aged!

He was the same on Graham Norton a bit slurred and odd with his speech.
Could be anti depressant or something quite innocent doing it!
I remember Kerry Katona on this morning back in day and she was slurring and it tuned out to be bipolar medication.
