Apparently Gwyneth Paltrow 'broke down' and ate bread during lockdown.

I'm confessing to supermarket carpark cookies Maybe we need a thread on illicit supermarket car snacks!

I usually buy some sort of savoury car snack last time it was dairylea dunker not even ashamed

Chris Martin was photographed giving the kids crisps I bet she was raging !

Im not sure how I feel about her sharing this stuff. On the one hand I think its good to talk about struggles with addiction etc, especially in the context of the lockdown. On the other hand - there might be young/impressionable people reading her comments and there is a real danger of normalising bread eating and even making it seem cool and edgy. Thats the last thing we need. Gwyneth Paltrow is a multi-millionnaire who can check herself into rehab if she needs to - but there are a lot of youngsters for whom occassional bread eating becomes a gateway into pasta and even crisps.

I know you think Im exagerating, but crisp eating is a real problem in my area. You see the left over paraphanalia (packets as the jargon goes) around bus stops etc and its blighting lives!!!!

@Whatsthescoop I know it says "share bag" on some of the car snacks that fall into my trolley but I'm just not ready for that kind of thing....

Sounds like @apalledandshocked might know some places were you can meet like minded individuals into this whole sharing scene.
