Apparently Gwyneth Paltrow 'broke down' and ate bread during lockdown.

I'm sorry. Still on a sugar high from the illicit carpark eclairs

Tangledtresses · 10/05/2021 19:19

Well as long as she wasn't shoving up her fandango she'll be fine yeast infection in the making

Youngatheart00 · 10/05/2021 19:25

I think for her this was pretty dramatic....it wasn’t just that she ate a slice of bread, she has admitted she was drinking every night and eating carbs like they were going out of fashion.

I mean, so was I, but I don’t profess to be any sort of wellness guru. I think it’s pretty honest of her to talk about it tbh, shows she’s human!

AhaShakeHeartbreak12 · 10/05/2021 19:31

Hahahaha

thecognoscenti · 10/05/2021 19:33

FFS. Bread is a perfectly acceptable foodstuff which is eaten in one form or another by millions of people all over the world every day. It is very safe if you live somewhere where food hygiene isn't good. It's cheap and filling and can taste really good. It's not crack cocaine. Oh, and 'eating clean' is bullshit. Unless she's dropped her slice of bread in a muddy puddle it's perfectly 'clean'. Rant over.

dodobookends · 10/05/2021 19:35

I too have eaten an eclair in a supermarket car park.

Blowingagale · 10/05/2021 19:39

@dodobookends

I too have eaten an eclair in a supermarket car park.
Sooo want an eclair now Smile
ApplyWithin · 10/05/2021 19:39

Be kind be kind be kiiiiiiiiiiiind.

Makes me want to be really unkind tbh.

And absolutely, do you ever imagine men saying this crap to each other??

Mrsjayy · 10/05/2021 19:41

She is ridiculous isn't she I mean I'm sure it wasn't a warburtons but it's fine Gwynnie we have all been there

groundcontroltomontydon · 10/05/2021 19:48

Made me think of this scene from After Life, I don't know why

4PawsGood · 10/05/2021 19:48

Some of the comments on the original article are pretty funny.

IHaveBrilloHair · 10/05/2021 19:54

She's such a fucking melt.
Tomorrow she'll reveal that the bread was made from organic clouds and barley grown in caves or some shit.
Aren't her kids almost teens now?
You just know they are cringing and telling her to STFU.

4PawsGood · 10/05/2021 19:57

They’re 17 and 15!

Genderwitched · 10/05/2021 20:03

please remember. Be kind.

I'm sorry...remember!! I haven't agreed to "be kind"

1forAll74 · 10/05/2021 20:05

I think the woman will be banging on a about her superfoods and candles etc, until she is 150,.so get used to it.

Doggitydog · 10/05/2021 20:06

Bread.....Shock *mops brow and clutches pearls. Whatever next, was it (whispers) sour dough??

OhToBeASeahorse · 10/05/2021 20:11

How can she even look at herself now? The shame must be overwhelming.

Is there such thing as BA? Do you think they can meet under Covid rules?

IHaveBrilloHair · 10/05/2021 20:33

I'm not sure what's worse, her and her fanny candles and freaking out about bread, or Chris Martin and his whining which is apparently singing, and writing on his hand with a sharpie marker.
Tossers, both of them.

ApplyWithin · 10/05/2021 20:37

I remember years ago she got a lot of stick for saying she didn’t give her children carbs and that they had all got used to “that specific hunger that comes from not eating carbs”.

I’ve never understood why otherwise healthy people need to avoid carbs to maintain their weight. If you’re permanently dieting, don’t you eventually disappear?

MiddleClassProblem · 10/05/2021 20:59

@ApplyWithin a diet is not dieting. Everybody is on a diet. A diet is just what you eat. When carbs breakdown inside your body they are turned into simple sugars so you get insulin spikes. So low carb means you avoid these spikes. They happen if you eat carb every meal or if you eat them as a one off. It’s about the hormonal reaction so not just done for weight loss.

MiddleClassProblem · 10/05/2021 21:00

Although I sounded a bit GP then! I don’t condemn pasta and doughnuts!
