My previous cat gained nothing from it. He went to the back door, meowed for it to be opened, saw it was raining and backed away. Then he walked his way through the house to the front door, meowed for it to be opened, saw it was raining and backed away. He was hoping for different weather at the front of the house to that at the back of the house. He never got it but it did not stop him trying.
