Never understood the Krispy Kreme live until today.

Not a fan of doughnuts at all. But a company rep bought my ward a box. Omg they are amazing!!!!!

I used to adore them but I think I’ve overdone it over the years, they a bit meh now

I'm they are awful donuts! They leave a film of grease on the roof of my mouth, I love donuts but won't touch a KK one!

I like them but then I also love Morrison's ones, think they're the best of the supermarket ones

I miss the pistachio ones!

@boredinthouse I was leaving my house to go to tesco to buy some. I'd parked down the road a bit. I lived in a v dodgy area at the time and saw someone checking out my house.

Still went to tesco to get the donuts.

Got home and someone had tried to break into my back door with a wood patio chair.

It was worth it.

I used to walk past a KK shop regularly and wouldn’t try one because I thought they would be so good that I would never be able to resist them. Eventually I tried one and didn’t like it at all. Even though I have a very sweet tooth I’ve never liked doughnuts except, occasionally, an old-fashioned, jam-filled one coated in crunchy sugar.

I did used to live in Slough though. Nothing like a hot donut right out of the fryer at the big tesco.

Yes, Pippins are another level of donuts -cinnamon and brown sugar are so good.

I like them (even though they have a bazillion calories each) but i actually prefer Dunkin Donuts even though they are barely available anywhere in the UK these days.
I have fond memories of a DD branch on Ludgate Circus in the City in the late 70s/early 80s. They had long glazed doughnuts the size of a large hot dog bun. A bit like a yum-yum but better. Squidgier.

Staying with my parents many years ago, they'd gone out for the evening without us so hubby and I stopped at Tesco's on our way back to their house so we could get something for dinner. We ended up getting 12 KKs and ate all 12 between us in lieu of a proper dinner. Hid the box so we didn't have to confess and took the rubbish home (200 miles) and said we ate out!

They're the best donuts. We have a Krispy Kreme store 10 minutes away 🐷.

Lemon meringue are the best. I could eat 6 of them washed down with the apple pie one.

They're great but I wish Asda hadn't removed the little grabby things to pick them up and put into the bag. Hand sanitiser and donut doesn't work well. Nor do trolley hands picking them up 🤮

They used to do a custard filled iced one. That was the best. I think it might have been a Christmas special.

I love doughnuts. Lets get that straight.

No.1 for me would be the little fair ground ones, ring shaped, all hot and sugery in a paper bag

No.2 would be a fresh jam doughnut from the bakers.

No.3 would be (sorry OP) a Krispy Kreme. And even then only the plain glazed one please ...

Yes I love them. Even the next day you can put the original glazed in the microwave for 10 seconds and they are warm and like new. My mouth is watering now

Wish they'd bring back the maple glazed and cookies and cream chocolate cake ring donut. Can't stand the ones without a hole with all the shit inside.

Not all of them. They do ring donuts too.

I love the chocolate dream ones though. 😋

Will go against the grain and say I think they’re massively overrated . They’ve always tasted a bit rubbery to me.
