Never understood the Krispy Kreme live until today.

Not a fan of doughnuts at all. But a company rep bought my ward a box. Omg they are amazing!!!!!

I do like Krispy Kreme but have discovered Planet Doughnut and those are even better! (Based Shrewsbury/Telford way)

The lotus biscoff one was a sore point today. I had my eye on that and told my colleague to save half for me, and another person ate it. 
Waves at @EnjoyingTheArmoire, it was a sad day! Parents would bring us boxes of Tim bits. Completely outing!

I prefer the four Greggs doughnuts you get in a box. The custard one with toffee icing is amazing.

We had them on our wedding cake table!

Tried some doughnuts in a hotel in Iceland ( the country) a couple of years ago. They had a doughnut chef. They were incredible. MyDH and I still talk about them.

Fried hot doughnuts from those little kiosks at the seaside are my absolute fave treat in the whole world.

They are lush. If there was a Krispy Kreme drive through near me I would go there now.

When they opened a drive through near me the queue was on the news as it caused a traffic jam on the motorway

Krispy creme are nasty. The cream is slimy and they are so sugary they make my teeth hurt. And I'm no stranger to sugar.

I tried one once. Wasn't impressed and never bothered again.

I too miss the cream filled glazed ones, did they also get rid of the chocolate covered cream filled ones? I haven’t seen those in ages!
I do also like hot seaside donuts and regular jam sugary ones from the supermarket but these must be eaten immediately after purchase, they’re no good once they’ve sat for a while.

I have to say though, i strongly dislike a yum yum. Possibly controversial!

Never understand people complaining about the sweetness of a doughnut, you pretty much know what you’re getting yourself into by actually choosing to eat a doughnut 😂
Saying that though, I refuse anything from Costco (in particular their birthday/celebration style cakes) as there is no actual flavour in those, literally just sugar!!! The sponge is pure sugar - there’s no vanilla flavour to be tasted, the thin layer of jam has no fruity flavour, and the mountain of buttercream has no business calling itself ‘butter’cream, that’s revolting Marge at best combined with a vat loaf of more sugar! I like sweet things but this shit has no flavour

I personally think they are awful, they all taste the same and it's a nasty artificial overly sweet taste. Give me a freshly cooked, still warm sugared donut any day
