What would you have?

Even if logically you can’t have it

For me

Real:- I would love a fox and one day I’m determined to have one Grin

Imaginary:- a miniature elephant sounds cool. Like a Jack Russell used elephant!

I've already got a wolf (well, she's half Egyptian balady & half African golden wolf)

I'm beyond envious, @CorvusPurpureus! I'll wolf sit for free when you go on holiday!

@PivotPivotPivottt

A monkey 🐒
Monkeys make awful pets. I went to stay with a cousin who had a pet monkey. It used to leap on me and bite my arms. I hated it.

If we are talking fantasy, a tame tiger.

My school friend had a pet baby hippo that lived IN his house. She was pretty cute, if a little destructive...

Zwellers · 12/04/2021 18:05

A thylacine. Beautiful, would keep cats out the garden and I could claim the reward money for prooving they exist.

I'd like a raven that perches on my shoulder, likes being stroked and talks.”

Ravens are incredible, so smart and long lived too.

Great third choice. My first, sunbear, as mentioned.

My recent second. A pangolin. I must be one of the few people on earth who hadn’t seen one until a recent news report about their imminent extinction. How on earth could anyone harm that poor little thing? Ideally, I’d like a pair so they weren’t lonely and would just give them an enormous, naturalistic enclosure and let them live their lives out in peace, poor little blighters.

A cuttlefish, I love them, I could sit and watch their changing colours all day.
But like octopus, they only live 1-2 years, which just seems wrong, and I'd be permanently upset when they died.

BirdyBee · 14/04/2021 21:19

A vampire bat i think they are fascinating!

PugInTheHouse · 14/04/2021 21:25

Orangutan definitely, a baby one

Cleverpolly3 · 14/04/2021 21:30

Black Beauty
Falkor from NS
Elsa the lioness
Goldie from Blue Peter
Hedwig

None of them will ever top my actually dog and best friend ever in real life but I’d love them all

WomenAreBornNotWorn · 14/04/2021 21:31

I would fly around the world opening all the cages and barns and release the hens, pigs etc. Then i would release all the animals in every zoo that are fit and healthy, and fly them all back to their natural habitats. Ban hunting, poaching, fishing, meat and dairy. Shut every slaughter door,so no animal will ever have to live the horror of waiting in a kill line.

Confusedandshaken · 14/04/2021 21:34

I would love a mini elephant but it would be cruel to have just one so I’d have to have a herd. Or a family of marmosets.

SappysCurry · 14/04/2021 21:35

A leopard and a fox squirrel

GreyhoundG1rl · 14/04/2021 21:41

A whole herd of elephants. And a giraffe.

IHateCoronavirus · 14/04/2021 21:41

An otter, there wouldn’t be anything I wouldn’t do for my little otter!

LostToucan · 14/04/2021 21:42

Cheetah - because they purr.

Hoppinggreen · 14/04/2021 21:43

I would love a fox but never would as it would be cruel
I am considering getting some jellyfish or frogs

YesPleaseMary · 14/04/2021 21:48

A fox, a penguin, an otter, and a tiny elephant.
