Whatever you answer you will say is wrong. How can a cookie with less chocolate chips be worth 3 less cos it has 3 less chips. That doesnt make any sense. It's still a full cookie. And the same with the clock. Everything is the same. So just by changing the time you are changing the value. It doesnt work.

I completely agree with this poster. We're assuming there is no value in the cookie itself and that each choc chip is worth "1". But if the cookie was worth, say, 5, and the choc chips 0.5 each, it would be a different answer. Need to be clear that a cookie had intrinsic value without the choc chips.

Well this can be a variety of answers, the cookie could be worth 5 and each chocolate chip is 1/2, the bananas look to be different sizes so is one worth more than the other ? A clocks value doesn't change according to the time.
