What kid programs do you happily watch alone?

Soubriquet · 17/03/2021 14:20

There are some programs I do enjoy watching that are classed as kids programs.

Sometimes you just need something easy and fun Grin

Mine are
Pokemon
H20 just add water
Mako mermaids

There are probably others but I can’t think of them off the top of my head.

When mine were younger and watched CBeebies, I easily watched Hey Duggee Grin

I love Hilda on Netflix.

mongoosebaby · 17/03/2021 20:54

Bluey for sure. I love the parents - my husband gets all his ideas for pretend play from Bluey's dad! Echo a PP about the excellent role models in it too. Plus, it's hilarious! Dance mode...

ayegazumba · 17/03/2021 20:57

Bluey! So happy to have discovered that show. The writers capture how children play and talk to each other perfectly. Reminds me when I used to 'secret life of 4 year olds', just a scripted cartoon version.

oopsywithoutdaisy · 17/03/2021 21:06

Another vote for Bluey, genuinely happy to sit down with DD and watch and laugh with her.

Pinkflipflop85 · 17/03/2021 21:11

Love Bluey.

Fave is teen titans go. Dp and I will often sit and watch it!

EveningsInTheSummerhouse · 17/03/2021 21:12

Scooby Doo.

I know all the lyrics to all the theme song variants.

How do you add line breaks in MN?

Lambside · 17/03/2021 21:36

Horrible Histories
Shaun The Sheep-hauled the now teen DDs to the movie. DP and I got all the jokes and they sat there non-plussed.

Would watch mostly on my own at the time-
YoHoAhoy loved that show!

Sat the DDs when they were small in front of videos of The Clangers, Pingu and Bagpuss and enjoyed them all over agin from when I was little.
Ok maybe not Pingu so much. I'm not that young.

Giantrooster · 17/03/2021 21:38

Shawn the sheep
Wallace & Gromit
SpongeBob

AsMuchUseAsAMarzipanDildo · 17/03/2021 21:38

Sarah & Duck... Scarf Lady is my idol.

Doremisofarsogood · 17/03/2021 21:39

@Justme10

We are still in the hey duggee phase here and I love it Grin
Me and my almost 8 year old still watch Hey Duggee, I've been known to watch it alone too, I just love it!
Princessbanana · 17/03/2021 21:55

I will happily watch “the amazing world of gumball” and “Balamory”! I love balamory, it’s old and I used to watch it when I was young and suddenly found it again when I had my own children!😁

purplebagladylovesgin · 17/03/2021 22:00

Pui pui

It's so sweet!

piefacedClique · 17/03/2021 22:06

Find me in Paris....love it! What’s not to love about a time travelling ballerina from 1905 who is training at the Paris Opera Ballet school! Very addictive!!!

SEE123 · 17/03/2021 22:14

Blue's Clues. I love that they start and end with telling you how smart you are and that you can do anything if you true.

I absolutely loathe The Pig.
