Tesco Easter Delivery slots

I’ve just got an email saying the slots will open soon but I may have to wait in a virtual queue due to high demand. I think I’ll skip on the two hour ‘wait’ like at Christmas and if I don’t get one immediately I’ll take my custom elsewhere. Anyone else not bothering?

Well that was weird. I have priority booking but kept hanging so changed to 2 hour slot and was able to get in straight away ! Friday 2nd .

Strange, I went straight in and booked 3 slots for march into april no problem. Thanks for the reminder. Much better than Christmas!

My Tesco app only goes up till March 22nd atm.

Are you all priority pass holders? My booking screens only show up to 22 March.

Its only open for delivery pass holders at the moment. Got my usual Saturday slot.

I was waiting 10 mins and gave got my normal Wednesday delivery slot for that week booked. Same as at Christmas.

I was more panicking as I have a delivery booked for tomorrow and I couldn't get in to change the 2 bottles of gin I had in the basket to reserve it!

Seeing this post reminded me to book ours.

I got straight on the website, no queue, and booked our usual timeslot, which falls on Good Friday this Easter.

Just got reminded by dd; went into complete panic thinking the dates weren't showing to me. Then realised I was looking at all the wrong dates as dd had told me Easter was April 14th!!! HmmGrin

Found the right dates and there were tons of slots!

Very easy to book and it was some time after 7.15am - had been a bit worried I might have missed the boat. No waiting room, plenty of options still to 5 April in our area and I was even able to get our usual slot. I checked just after midnight but they hadn't been released. So much easier than the horror that was the Christmas bookings. No deliveries on Easter Sunday as is to be expected.

No fuss here after all. Booked my usual Saturday slot without any issues. I didn’t want a repeat of Christmas where I had to carry the iPad round the house for two hours. They’ve got months to improve.

I just booked as normal for good Friday. No queue, all slots available.

Easter delivery slots??? Wtaf- is that for real? Surely Easter Sunday is just a Sunday?

Fortunately I don't use tesco so not an issue.

Easter is the most important Christian festival, more important than Christmas.

Growing up it was treated as a second Christmas Day, full family, big Christmas style dinner with a Christmas pudding saved from Christmas. Our celebrations start from Good Friday so definitely not a normal weekend.

That was easy! Saw this thread (thanks OP) and rushed off to book. There were lots of slots available and no waiting. Much better than Christmas booking!

I’ve got a leg of lamb in the freezer and will pick up a pack of hot cross buns to do the same shortly. Tesco can, in MN parlance, get to fuck.
