About £40, new books. Youngest has never really been a huge reader but because of his courses, he’s getting into it now, partly boredom I know, but we’re delighted 😁

@Kottbullar

£15 Fuzzikins from Jack Valentine

What is this??

@Xiaoxiong that's brilliant, what do you do with all the rubbish you've picked up?
Also it would be cheaper for you to get a Disney+ subscription for Gravity falls.

Fuzzikins are a bit like sylvanian families but you draw on them.

Kottbullar may have been querying Jack Valentine. I suspect you have outed your rough location with that reference!

£384 - car service and mot Shock
£5.99 - Disney plus sub to watch the mandalorean.

Other than that, a big fat nowt.

Nothing extra. Looking at this thread maybe I'm mean!

choosername1234 · 19/02/2021 12:48

DS has done an online coding course £100 for 1.5 hrs a day for the week. Other than that, nothing

Iveputmyselfonthenaughtystep · 19/02/2021 12:54

Other than my usual shop I spent just under a fiver on hot cross buns, crisps, a junk cereal and some chocolate bars. All treats that we don't often have - certainly not all in one week.
Just wanted to do something different...
Oh. And going to spend 25 quid on an extra controller thingy for the switch to stop future arguments, but that's not going to get here till tomorrow...

Usually dd would do a three day camp- 120 euro and toddler dd would be at Soft play with me drinking coffee Sad
We would do a two night stay in hotel - 500 euro and then possibly a cinema trip or adventure play too.
This week was grocery shopping ( lots extra for baking since there’s nothing else to do )- 180 euro

Ice creams /coffee -12 euro
Takeaway this evening- 30 euro

Now I do have to say that in normal times ,dd does four activities which cost about 300 per month and I pay 200 per month Creche fees and a about 60 per month for toddler groups / soft play .
I’m not saving ANYTHING Blush

I seem to have developed a very bad habit of ordering everything and anything on line .
I did make 60 euro selling some old toys though .

About 20 on books and craft stuff for DD
About 20 on trying a gousto box as so very bored of thinking what to cook
30 on new clothes for DD as she appears to have stretched again Grin don't dare measure her feet as that will be the next thing

We've not been anywhere, bought coffees or anything. However, DD seems completely content, so although it will be lovely to be able to go out somewhere, I'll be toning down the rate in future. I tend to over-compensate for the times I have to work, I think, whereas she's actually totally happy pottering about.
