Eggs
Cheese
Bread
Apples
Cucumber
Frozen peas
Flour
Hummus
Wine
Crisps

I have Frozen peas
Flour
Hummus and a lot of eggs

DifficultBloodyWoman · 13/02/2021 07:58

I’ve got everything except cucumber, hummus and crisps. But they are never on my regular shopping list anyway as I don’t like crisps very much and hate cucumber and hummus.

PaperMonster · 13/02/2021 07:58

All except the hummus.

No hummus, but do buy it fairly regularly.

FritataPatate · 13/02/2021 08:05

All of the above INCLUDING hummus!

EventuallyDeleted · 13/02/2021 08:08

We've got all of them in with online delivery due tomorrow. We do have phases of not buying hummus but had it every week since Christmas, the DCs eat it for lunch when they're not at school and I like it too. We get through a lot of eggs, cheese, frozen peas and cucumbers, all of these are bought weekly.

Gice · 13/02/2021 08:13

All except hummus because dd1 and I once got food poisoning from it and can’t eat it since!

EssexLioness · 13/02/2021 08:24

Everything except:
Eggs and cheese (vegan household so don’t eat them, though we do have vegan cheese in
Hummus (dont like it)
Crisps (if I kept them in I would eat them all so just buy occasionally when I really fancy a bag)
Apples (find them a bit boring so tend to have other fruit instead)

MsSquiz · 13/02/2021 08:28

Everything except the hummus (DH and I don't like it and yet to try toddler DD with it) and my Tesco shop is due at 10am!

Eggs - always have a box in

Cheese - 2 types of block cheese, plastic slices, babybel, dairylea & Philadelphia

Bread - wholemeal loaf, flat breads & wraps

Apples - red and green

Cucumber - always have 1 whole cucumber in, DD and I have it most days

Frozen peas - DH and DD have them regularly

Flour - plain, self raising & corn flour

Wine - not huge wine drinkers but always have at least 1 bottle of red, white & rosé. Also Prosecco and champagne

Crisps - grown up crisps (tortilla & kettle chips) and kids crisps (quavers, organix & ella's kitchen snacks)

WalkingMeAway · 13/02/2021 08:28

All of them apart from hummus

FlamingGreatGalaahs · 13/02/2021 08:40

All of them.

FlamingGreatGalaahs · 13/02/2021 08:40

Oh all except crisps actually!

ShaunaTheSheep · 13/02/2021 08:44

Anyone care to share their favourite hummus recipe?

Glittertwins · 13/02/2021 08:53

All of them. Also more likely to have hummus than crisps normally

trappedsincesundaymorn · 13/02/2021 08:57

No hummus this week and no cucumber at any time.

Morten · 13/02/2021 08:58

@HeronLanyon

No crisps No hummus - make own and have all ingredients so I do in a way. No cucumber.
Same here though we do usually have crisps in.

Cucumber has gone on the compost patch as it was too soft!

Lolly34h · 13/02/2021 09:06

Everything but the wine and peas

ODFOx · 13/02/2021 09:08

No apples, cucumber, crisps or humus.

We do have pears, tomatoes and peppers, biscuits and salsa though , as our preferred alternatives.

kowari · 13/02/2021 09:17

@AtleastitsnotMonday

Oh no! I’m loosing now, my bet was hummus was a staple for more people than crisps, unless of course no one has it because it’s already been eaten ... (ok clutching at straws, but I was trying to make a point and don’t want to admit defeat! This is very lighthearted by the way, no need for nutritional analysis or need to LTB!)
We have neither but I'd be more likely to have hummus than crisps, I occasionally buy hummus but never buy crisps.
Chunkymenrock · 13/02/2021 09:23

@yearinyearout, you can check the freshness of eggs without cracking them, by putting them in water. They should sink. If there's any floating going on, they're stale. Google for a better explanation!

CrepuscularCritter · 13/02/2021 09:27

All but the hummus, which is due to report for duty at around 1630.

HeronLanyon · 13/02/2021 10:29

Pp asks for hummus recipe
There was a great one only
A few weeks ago with lots of variations and suggestions on how to get it ultra smooth if Sabra (?) is the type you love.
I’ve been making it for a long time and learnt a lot from that thread. Don’t know how to link to a thread I think . . .

Mrgrinch · 13/02/2021 10:31

Since when was hummus so popular?

BearSoFair · 13/02/2021 10:36

We have:
Eggs
Cheese
Bread
Apples
Frozen peas
Flour
Crisps

Hummus doesn't come through this door, one food we all agree is vile!

RockingMyFiftiesNot · 13/02/2021 10:37

All except crisps
