Please recommend me a Netflix series!

Looking for something to watch with 17-year-old DD (and maybe DH). Would like something with a good storyline or maybe a really good comedy. Not really into fantasy stuff or historical dramas. TIA.

For subtitle lovers, look for Balloon on iPlayer and Deutschland '83 and '86.

These are both excellent and I’m waiting impatiently for Deutschland 89 to have English subtitles.

Rita, is really good. It's in Danish with English subtitles.

I am really fussy about comedy but loved Brooklyn 99.

I watched Hanna on Prime and really enjoyed it.

I just binged watched Firefly Lane I think that’s the title it was brilliant. Liked Good GIrls and Queens Gambit also

1- Lupin brilliant, keeps you guessing.

2- Queens Gambit - just amazing, we don’t know anything about chess particularly and we were gripped! We nearly didn’t watch it because we thought it wasn’t about anything we’d like.... oh how wrong we were!!

3- unsolved mysteries- real life unsolved cases missing people etc...

4 - Bit older now but the people vs Oj or the one they did on Versace both really good!!

5- The Good Place

6- The Crown
