What colour are your sofas?

My sitting room needs a complete makeover. I think my starting point needs to be a new sofa but I can't decide on a colour.

The one I have is sort of bluey grey so I would like a change. I'm strangely tempted by orange or pink!

I had 2 cream ones when my DS was small. A ridiculous decision and lots of laundry. I now have a beige creamy one because it fitted with our decor. The next one will be grey

Ours is navy and velvet. Like this one from DFS.

Our pink sofa! There's another chair opposite the sofa, out of shot with same cushions.

We have navy, not dissimilar to the one another poster showed upthread.

They are from next. But only because it was the only place that seemed to do navy. Everywhere else just did grey, grey and grey.

We currently have grey (ha!) cushions and accessories as grey is fashionable. When I get bored, I will change those for pink or orange or lime green, whatever I fancy - everything goes with navy.

We had bright red before for years and years and I loved those too.

I have this one. It’s very comfy.

Duck egg green, love them.

Mine is Heather Grey, from Next.

Walls are a pale lilac, carpet is grey (from before grey was a trend), sofas are purple, grey & black. Curtains are purple.

Purple isn't quite the right colour descriptor, burgundy, maroon maybe.

Got the ikea arm chair and had to change the old sofa because it didn't go. I'm still not sure about it though 😂

Ours is 12 ish years old and a sort of Oxblood leather. Leather needs a bit of a clean ( but stuck what to use as saddle soap didn't do it any good)

Brown (a nice shade). However one sofa is next to a window and this one has faded somewhat.

We have a large dark brown leather one, and a small dusky pink velvet one. I'm not keen on everything matching

We've got the Orson corner sofa from Made.com in a sort of cream/neutral colour. We got it as a customer return from ebay for about a third of the original price so it's defo worth having a look on there if you want a more expensive brand at a cheaper price. I don't think I'd have cream again or another light colour because even the dye from jeans transfers onto it so I'd love velvet next in a jewel colour but it's very comfortable and I like the fixed back because it doesn't look as saggy as some. I love that it's a corner too and wouldnt go back to a normal sofa now as it's so nice that we can both lie down on it at the same time.

Saying that though, things do seem to wash out of it. I've managed to get bright pink fountain pen ink completely out of one of the seat cushions (with much googling, scrubbing and crying) which amazed me so I guess the fabric isn't too bad!

Blue microfibre, easy to wipe/ scrub.

@AppleStars it's from dfs, the French connection zinc I think its called.

blackberry velvet for two of them and one is dark leather but that's on its way out to be replaced by smoky dark blue-green velvet.

Ours are blue. I really wanted real velvet like a PP I cannot trust sticky little hands everywhere!

Grey

Something inbetween cream and beige. I think sand was mentioned in the name of the colour when we bought it. I also wouldn't go for anything quite this light again. We've been pretty careful, but there are still several stains I can't get out.
