You go on a date with a guy, he tells you what he does for a living and... well... it kinda turns you on! I'm curious What kind of job would he do for you to think "ooof!"

OP posts:

Army, Navy or RAF. Brave with a great body!

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 17/01/2021 19:45

@thosetalesofunexpected

I think it's the uniform but mostly the leather satchel... and they way they lick they pencil suggestively.

MsTSwift · 17/01/2021 19:45

My ex was a barrister and a bloody lunatic- he was binned. Not a good long term prospect!

MsTSwift · 17/01/2021 19:46

Watched Dirty Dancing with my teens dh wondered aloud why Patrick Swayze was unnecessarily topless Tor most of it, so I would say dance instructor!

MsTSwift · 17/01/2021 19:47

For

BillywigSting · 17/01/2021 19:50

@41HaggardHetty can confirm brass players are top quality kissers Grin

I have quite the thing for scientists (and dp is surprised surprise a chemist, and looks amazing in his lab coat and safety specs)

Would also second farriers, strong, confident and gentle with animals and generally big tough softies.

Have dealt with too many tradesmen in the doing up of our house to find them remotely attractive. Most of the ones I've met have been bellends when they think I'm a woman living alone and soon buck their ideas when dp comes along to question why they are acting like tits.

CaraDuneRedux · 17/01/2021 19:52

I cannot believe someone said academic 🤣 I am one and let's just say I married out!

Used to be one myself and I am so with you on that one!

One of the things I miss due to WFH is navy officers in uniform in the work canteen...

WalrusWife · 17/01/2021 19:55

Aldi supermarket cashier.

WalrusWife · 17/01/2021 19:55

My DH - military pilot.

JimmyTheWeed · 17/01/2021 19:59

Definitely a fireman! Also a farrier,or a rock guitarist.

Griefmonster · 17/01/2021 20:06

Carpenter, furniture maker or restorer, stonemason. Anything that requires creativity, precision and strength

Griefmonster · 17/01/2021 20:06

Oh yes helicopter pilot!

edwinbear · 17/01/2021 20:12

Tradies do it for me. I work in investment banking, surrounded by suits all day (pre Covid), discussing very clever things and producing immaculate spreadsheets & powerpoint presentations.

I come over all funny when I have an electrician/plumber round doing manly things and flexing their beautiful firearms Grin

MumOfPsuedoAdult · 17/01/2021 20:16

@emilyfrost

Any where he had to wear a suit Grin

Not into doctors/firemen/army/tradesmen.

Anything he DOESN'T have to wear a suit, preferable musician or writer. Smile
ILoveAnOwl · 17/01/2021 20:18

Timpanist.

SilverOtter · 17/01/2021 20:18

Archaeologist (like Indiana JonesWink)

edwinbear · 17/01/2021 20:20

forearms! I’ve never had a plumber round with a firearm thankfully.....

letsnotscaretheneighbours · 17/01/2021 20:20

Chef - good job as I'm married to one (hours no longer shit as in early career)

Been married to a soldier. Away constantly, normally only home to wash their kit and bugger off again. Plus gave my ex the opportunity to cheat.

cherrypie111 · 17/01/2021 20:21

Penis model

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 17/01/2021 20:23

I thought it was a euphemism...
EileenGC · 17/01/2021 20:24

Well-known-in-the-industry person with the same job as mine. It has been mentioned here a few times. Means they're more likely to understand how nerdy I get about certain things and that would make them so attractive

mamaduckbone · 17/01/2021 20:26

Musician or artist. I'm never destined to be rich...

LubaLuca · 17/01/2021 20:29

Dancer. The classy sort, not a Redcoat.
