I am so fucking bored

BORED. Absolutely fuck all to do. Sick of watching shit on telly, reading, cooking. Sick of going for a fucking walk, I might go whole hog and turn left at the end of that road instead of turning right just for a change, that's the big news here today. The cat shit on the carpet this morning at least cleaning it up gave me something new to do. I want to go to a theme park, I want to go to London for the day, I want to go to the pub, take my Mum out for lunch, get smashed in a beer garden with my mates. Haven't seen the fuckers for months. Go on that luxury solo trip I treated myself to last year that never happened. Just me, my ipod, a massive glass of alcohol and a pool. Instead I'm stuck at home every bastard day driving myself mad with overthinking because there's nothing to distract me. Get me on a fucking plane away from this bullshit. Rant over!!

Life hasn’t changed for me really. I go to work (teacher) and go to the supermarket. That’s kind of all I did anyway. I live a boring life!

I couldn't agree more! Obviously we all have our own "want to do list" but the boredom and frustration is the same.
I want to go to the hairdressers (was booked in for today, grrrrrr) and go and browse the closing down sale in Debenhams. Just simple normal pleasures really.

Did loads of Baking last LD (Just cant be arsed this time round ).Feels relentless .Had a lovely dream last night ,on holiday with our friends here in Dorset(They live US ,we were due to visit them last year cancelled due to sodding Covid) Woke up! Feel like its so long ago I could pop to friends for lunch ,travel by train to see my Cousin ,go to London for the day (as you say) Went up last Nov 2019 .Never realised how long it would be to even think of returning!

Me too, I'm so bored. Our shop doesn't come until Tuesday so I don't even have any snacks to comfort eat.

I've cleaned the bathroom, done some washing and booked a slot at the tip. DH has cleaned the kitchen and is putting washing away.

We've just had a big discussion about our exercise of the day and he's going to take DC to the park whilst I go for a run and meet them there.

We're so bored. I want to see my dad, go away for the weekend, swim, take DC to the cinema and lunch and go for drinks with my friends. It all seems so far away.

I’ve had two only-during-Covid dreams this week - in the first one I was getting vaccinated (yay!) although I had to go to the Virgin Megastore to get it done, and in the second I was in a supermarket without my mask which is the modern equivalent of dreaming you’re out with no trousers on!

I feel this so much. My 3 year old burst into tears when we went out for yet another boring walk around the estate. He said ‘I just want to GO somewhere’ right with you kid.

I'm going to get off my arse in a bit and put a wash on and do some tidying.

I feel the same. So bored. But even if it was all over now, I still wouldn't be able to do anything due to lack of money. So I'd still be going to the park with my kids for the nth time.

I have been checking out holidays for October and New Year just to give myself something to daydream about. Even going for a walk is dull plus it is raining here today so can't be bothered. Home workout and afternoon bath again it is then!

Who else is dressing as nicely as they can for a trip to the supermarket? Or planning a nice walk just to go and pick up a prescription! I have been going to actual work a few days a week instead of WFH and the joy I'm getting out of planning an outfit is absurd. Until I get there and wish I was in my leggings and slippers...!

I got over excited this morning when I remembered it's the kids bedding wash day

I spent yesterday cleaning mopping washing and drying. Washing down the dog area In the garden as well as home schooling.

I've put a complete ban on homeschool
Of any sort on Saturdays and sundays and let the kids do what they want.

One is currently binge watching Harry Potter while eating crisps in bed and the other is off for an excercise walk with her bf that she hasn't seen since lockdown (old enough to self distance)

Even the dogs looked bored shitless when we go for our daily walk.

Got a fucking toddler who is missing nursery. Might go crazy and go for another walk with him shortly.
Trying to WFH with him is impossible. I’m having to take annual leave to look after him. I want to use my annual leave to go on bloody holiday 😫😂

I’ve also been awake since 4.30 with him as he’s teething. I’m fucking knackered and 6 months pregnant.

Me too! Being at home every day with 2 kids (9mo and 4yo) and desperately trying to think of ways to entertain them every day is driving me crackers. I think we've done just about every craft on the internet at this point.
