For me it's Gin.
It's taking over the flipping spirit aisles with pink gin, rhubarn gin, parma violet gin, orange marmalde gin 😡

Get a grip folks...you've sucumbbed to marketing!!

Wine, prosecco, gin, Friends, Harry Potter, Twilight films, extra bloody long thick heavy fake eyelashes that make girls look like they're high, lip fillers, Channing Tatum and all the other typical blokes women fancy, men with huge muscles and six packs

Given that the original question wasn’t what do you think other people like that you think is overrated..
I’m going with @AdultHumanFemale and saying cunnilingus.
And vibrators.
Definitely overrated- and no, I’m not doing it wrong!

Things like gin or Prosecco are a matter of taste (I don’t care for either but I’d rather have a good cider or IPA).

The Hush/Toast/Boden love on MN is probably a reflection of certain age groups rather than a reflection of the rest of the world. So I wouldn’t say is overrated, again a matter of taste.

But I’m bored and pedantic

@Tyke2

Cats. What's the point?
Because they are like little furry hot water bottles that make you feel all warm and fuzzy when snuggle up to you. Mine at the moment has decided his favourite snuggle position is to across my chest with his head on my left shoulder and his bum resting on my right arm. Then once he's comfy he snuggles his body right up into my neck and I rest my head on him. More often than not we both fall asleep Grin

Lamb - even the word, but the smell of it just makes me want to vom

Gin - don't understand the hype. Give me a pint, a glass of wine or vodka & soda anyday

Camping or other 'doing' holidays - I do enough all bloody year, just let me lie down, sleep & drink a lot

AtleastitsnotMonday · 15/01/2021 15:54

Totally agree with lamb, the smell turns my stomach from a mile away.

I don't agree with you on lamb or gin, but you and I like the same kind of holidays!

I’m the opposite - I don’t see the point of travelling somewhere and not seeing all the sights Smile I’d rather just have some time off at home to catch up on sleep rather than paying to go somewhere else.

Ginfordinner · 15/01/2021 17:46

Neither do I. I love to immerse myself in the local culture, eat local food, drink local wine and enjoy the sights as well as lazing by the pool or walking along the beach (and good weather).

I don't "do" camping. I can afford something better than that, and prefer somewhere with my own bathroom, rather than trail across a muddy field to shared loos and showers.

ChrissyPlummer · 15/01/2021 17:46

Nando’s - it’s fine, not awful or anything but it’s just fine. Nothing special. Was handy when I did LCHF diet though.

Liz Earle cleanser - didn’t do anything for my skin and washing and drying the cloths all the time was a PITA.

EA 8 Hour Cream - no idea why this is raved about so much. Always used to see it recommended for after a flight. It’s SO greasy, no way would I want it on my face and my skin has never been dry after a flight 🤷‍♀️.

Cleaning - the amount of people who I know say they are ‘obsessed’ with it. Really? The most boring and unsatisfactory activity known to man. FFS.

SoDiorDarling · 15/01/2021 18:11

Cocaine. Controversial I know but I know so many people who do cocaine. A lot really shock me too!

torquewench · 16/01/2021 22:52

Dyson Airwrap. Sent mine back to QVC. Massive load of faff for a pisspoor result. Tried it for 50 days then returned it. Fucked if Im spending £000s to achieve a worse result than I get with a pair of Babyliss tongs or BigHair.

Sharing a bedroom I sleep SO much better on my own without someone next to me snoring and farting all night (although anyone who has shared a bed with me will probs say likewise).

Ltdannygreen · 16/01/2021 22:59

Staying home 🤷🏼‍♀️
