@TeenPlusTwenties

I knew this board existed but forgot what it was called (why does it have 'The' at the start?)

Anyway, I'm enjoying my Christmas present of a Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser. I saw a TV program on HC in Oct and then there was a thread here somewhere about how good they are so we ordered one for me.

I like the 50% and the 70% and the Orange. Wasn't keen on the praline, need to try the mint next I think.

The 'the' at the start of the alphabetic listings gives me the absolute rage. No logic to it, as some things have a The and some not, and the mind doesn't automatically link them. Much better to just call things by their name, so The Litter Tray becomes Litter Tray or Mad Cat Women or whatever. The number of things that come under Other Stuff is quite a lot. How does one remember that it is Other Stuff? Like MN have just shoved it in a cupboard under the stairs, and open it with one eye closed to avoid the mess. And wouldn't Local be better just listed under Stoke on Trent Local, rather that Local, then and A to Z of everywhere? Means if you are looking after L you are scrolling forever. I could do a better job. Please let me sort it out MN! :)

Ok, so, back to normal stuff. Bunny bites you say? Fluffy bunnies, wasn't that part of a kids programme in the late 90's, where he used to say, "My code name for today is 'Fluffy wuffy bunnykins. Oh damn', etc? I have some chocolate covered pretzels. Not slimming, but I have had a 2 hr walk today, so....:)

Mrs Doctor, yes, they are taking the mickey drinking gin and ignoring us! If we all keep on reporting off topic c word things maybe they'll be on it like a car bonnet!

If you want something peaceful and calming to watch can I recomend painting with Bob Ross on BBC four at 7.30pm?

Calming voice, easy to watch, wonderful.

I’m watching a dog grooming programme after doing online Zumba. Totally normal evening.

I really should go get in the shower but I’ve totally run out of energy.

Death in paradise here - love it!

Chutneymaura · 07/01/2021 21:02

Crikey watch Bridgerton on Netflix, I simply cannot think of the dreaded CV when it’s on, it’s just brilliant

EssentiallyDelighted · 07/01/2021 21:20

SSD - totally agree about the Bob Ross painting programme.

I've been watching old episodes of The Repair Shop. All the experts are wonderful, but I must admit to sometimes fast-forwarding the family stories about the items for repair, they can seem a bit exaggerated.

My favourite repair ever was the stuffed leather rhino, because Susie the leather expert completely got the giggles m.facebook.com/watch/?v=2290982101162619&_rdr

Lougle · 07/01/2021 21:32

BIWI · 08/01/2021 08:52

I just discovered Bridgerton @Chutneymaura @HoldingForGeneralHugs - it's fantastic stuff. Just what we need right now, I think. I didn't realise there was a book, so I might look that up as well.

Samcro · 08/01/2021 08:54

@DriveThroughSwabber love that. I was surprised to find out Susie is Steve's (2 glasses) sister.
