Two DCs. One DH and I am bored bored bored.

Dcs just want to play Mario Kart all day.

Given the limits of Tier whatever we are in now. (4).

what to do? Ideas welcome.

We are going for a walk (Tier 4), then play some board games. My kids are eight and six so they need a lot of exercise!

I've got some work to do from home. Then I'm having a pamper afternoon before i go to my ex boyfriends for dinner/the night.

Neither of us have bubbled with anyone else so we are still seeing quite a bit of each other and I'm trying to work out whether or not to broach the subject of trying again 🤷🏻‍♀️

When DH resurfaces going to take the dog for a walk to the park and get a mulled wine from the pub just next to it for the walk back.

Chill.

Then this evening were going to cling onto Xmas and take DDs on a walk to the Christmas lights houses have done for a local hospice charity

I'm having my lie in. DS is downstairs making Lego with DH. At some point he'll come up with his iPad and snuggle with me for an hour.

Getting a McDonald's for lunch as I'm a bit hungover, then it'll be a frosty dog walk, back home for beef stew and a film.

I'm also genuinely excited about going back to work on Monday. This Christmas has been an endurance test of child entertainment.

Just a slow day planned here.
When we eventually get dressed we're taking DS's new bike out for a ride and a bit of a walk and then after lunch we'll probably just play with all the new things the kids got for Christmas and for DS's birthday yesterday.
And hopefully an early night!

I’m waiting for a phone call and then doing yoga and having a shower before dragging everyone out for a walk. Home for roast beef, a film and board games. I love New Year’s Day and treat it like a second Christmas (minus the presents!).

DD currently watching a film, am about to make another cuppa and contemplate thinking about taking the decs down. After lunch, we'll head out for a walk and then back home for hot chocolates and watching another film! Trying to enjoy these last few lazy days as back to work on Monday and will have to encourage a reluctant DD to get up for school.

I think NYD is the most depressing day of the year. There is just something about it!

I was in bed last night at 10.30pm. Dd (9) stayed up watching a film with dp. Ds (17) stayed in after cancelling his plans to go to a friend’s party/18th as we moved from T2 to T3 so they all had a late night and will sleep until midday at least.

I’m up with our puppy. He’s 13 weeks old today and is into everything. I’m cleaning the house today, washing the downstairs windows and nothing more exciting apart from having a shower and washing my hair.

Tonight I’m making Mexican food and expect to have an early night. I love it when I’m up and nobody else is. It’s the only peace I get.

McDonald's breakfast is on its way and then we are going to have a Disney day. Do not intend to get out of comfies today!

Wish we could get DD12 out for a walk. We live in a beautiful part of the country but she refuses to budge! I might pop down to the harbour on my own if it stays fine. We’re taking the tree & decs down later. I need to go to Asda for a few bits. Doing lambsteaks with garlic & rosemary, roasties & broccoli for tea. The bunnies were in last night so they need to go back outside & DH will clean the pen that they slept in. FaceTiming my bro & family at some point. I very rarely get bored because there is so much that needs doing in this house. We moved in 3 years ago & some rooms still look like we’ve only just arrived! Think I’ll sort DD’s clothes out. She tends to wear the same few outfits because everything’s piled up & it’s too much hassle to dig through.

cooking an actual meal with real vegetables! Other than a takeaway curry last night we've lived predominantly off crackers and cheese and Christmas chocolates since Boxing Day,

Nobody's up here, so lacking motivation.

Days like this, I wish we lived by the sea. In fact, throughout lockdown I've wished that.

Started period yay great timing 🙄 tummy and head hurts.

DD in bed...... She'll be WhatsApp ING her mates today on a house building game. They've pooled their "funds" to build a mega mansion 😅 so she'll be cackling away 😅
Breakfast don't know what to eat.
I will do my usual nearly 1 hour walk. Keeps me a bit sane.
Partner is measuring up for new TV. He wants the 65" but may need to settle for 55 for size.
He may go fishing.
Dinner may be roast chicken or spag bol n garlic bread.
May even clean the bathrooms to fill the time.
Leaving tree up until next week. Will leave fairy lights up permanently.
All a bit boring but at least I've got family, warmth, shelter and food.

Get up soon, have brekkie. Walk dogs. Practice piano. Watch call the Midwife. DH cooking full Christmas Dinner with all trimmings for tea. Try not to drink 😩

Long walk in the Woodlands.

T4 here so limited options but going to spend a while getting showered and dressed, I got lots of nice skin care stuff for Christmas so going to enjoy using that.

Then it will be 'a walk' as we didn't leave the house at all yesterday before coming back for a nice dinner. Decorations came down yesterday so house is currently lovely and tidy!

I had to go fora covid test this morning as I had a fever last night. I'm sure it's just a cold but until I find out for sure we can't go anywhere.

DC had sticky buns for breakfast and are now on consoles again. They've spent far far too much time on them recently. DH is snoozing on the sofa with Ddog and MIL is doing all my ironing.

I'm sat watching inside out and contemplating how I can use up all of the leftover xmas cheeses. Ideas welcome.

Thanks for the reminder about the New Year’s Day concert. We always watch but invariably have to watch on catch up as I never remember when it’s on.

Other than that I’ll go for a run (hopefully) and I’d also like to start Adrienne’s Breath. I tend to start it every January with her. How long will I keep going for this year....
