Powder foundations being discontinued a help!

Posting in chat for traffic!

I went online hoping there'd be some good offers as I need to replace a few makeup and toiletry items which have run out.

I was very disappointed to find that the Nars powder foundation is no longer. I'm pretty gutted because after years of struggling with acne, I had finally found the one product I could have completely blemish free face with!

I've realised that liquid or any non powder foundations don't work for me. I need the powder to stop my face being oily, but a bit more coverage than loose powder can give.

It looks as though a few of the others, including Bobbi Brown and possibly Illamasqua are being discontinued, with only a couple of random shades left in stock anywhere.

Can anyone recommend a suitable alternative powder foundation? Especially if you have acne and you've found one works well for not making it worse.

I'm very grateful to anyone who can give suggestions!

Agree with the MAC studio fix. Covers my spots nicely when dabbed directly on!

I use the Bare Minerals loose powder, which is fab. I'm very pale like you, OP, and hate any foundation with an orange tinge. I use the shade 'Fairly Medium' which is actually quite pale, not medium, and has pink undertones. There's an even lighter cool-toned shade as well, though can't remember what it's called.

Agree with the above posters mentioning lily lolo - especially if you’re pale, the finishing powder is amazing

They do sample sizes too, so worth a go

Thank you for all the recommendations everyone! Fingers crossed I'll find one the right colour that doesn't aggravate my acne again!
