Anyone else having a crap Christmas so far?

I've had a severe dose of the hiccups for 2 hours, cannot see friends nor family because of COVID. And can't stop hicupping so can't go to sleep!

jelly I'm so sorry to hear this. So many awful Covid stories. I hope you and your mum can be of some comfort to each other and I will be thinking of your Dad and you and your family.

So sorry for those of you that are ill, have parents in hospital..and uncaring and unfeeling partners and husbands.

Some Christmases just suck and I’ve had more than my share.

I’ve never felt so miserable as today. My dad found out yesterday he has cancer. No idea how serious it is but he’s mid 80s and in poor health. Dh has been an utter twat all day. It hadn’t felt like Christmas and we have all been grumpy and glum.

I am very sorry to everyone who has had a traumatic Christmas. My post was very self indulgent and woeful about not very much but the straw that broke my camels back. My thoughts are with you, and I hope that your days are brighter soon.

Well I was on the sofa last night after oh screamed abuse at me. Still here now, after a couple of hours fitful sleep.
