I think I know myself too well now to think I would actually do any craft activities! I used to do a lot with DS when he was younger - but I used to work term time at that point. Maybe when I retire!

Apparently when my dad was a child he used to get joint birthday and Christmas presents. His birthday was 4 December!

Happy Birthday Babooshka. It's my birthday today too (and my MIL's, so at least DH has just one date to remember). My mum ran for a bus to get the turkey, so I was an unexpected extra for the feast.

I feel his pain - mine is at the end of January. My Aunt used to tell me she'd give me my xmas present when it was my birthday "because I can get it in the January sales"

I'm another January birthday... been through all the double-present, present in sales (can be a good thing), and no-one wanting to go out (including me ) cuz the weather is shit.
