We do, of course, run the risk of putting up a track and having someone come on and say "that was our first dance" or "we buried my mother to that song". But I think it's a risk worth taking (ANYTHING to stop the bloody Christmas songs!).

I was reminded again last night. I think it was right back on thread 1 that I was going to post John Wayne is big leggy by hayzie fantazie, but when I looked at the lyrics, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. That song has NOT aged well!

No just Bonkers British! But I spent a lot of time on lovely long Caribbean trips when I started out, drank copious amounts of their rum punches and had some crazy times.🤪

Do you miss it at all or is it one of those things that were of a particular time in your life and things change as you get older ?

It was definitely my time to leave, I’d been thinking about it for a couple of years, so it was the push I needed really. And it’s been lovely being home a lot (I’ve never spent more than a week or two continuously with my husband - nice to know we get on), and I’d have been tearing my hair out worrying about mum if I was still flying. But I’ve missed it a fair bit these last few weeks. I think because there have been so many films set in New York and it kicked in that somewhere I used to go nearly every month is now out of reach. I miss the time alone in a nice hotel too! But it’s been nice to be definitely home for Xmas (even if it was cancelled!).

Yes time alone is a bit of a dream at the moment !
