It is absolute anxiety inducing carnage on this site tonight. If, like me, you are reading certain threads and feeling your blood pressure and pulse go through the roof, please join this thread for some calm Flowers

I'll start: I'm in bed with my cat, listening to Stephen Fry reading Harry Potter. Looking forward to watching a christmas film with DS tomorrow.

Lovely thread! I’m still in bed (am a teacher so beginning of the hols) and can hear DCs playing happily downstairs. They have already been outside and let the hens out and given the dogs a run around so there’s little for me to do for now. Just contemplating whether I need a cup of coffee enough to get up...

Some gorgeous photographs on this thread too.

Dh is still waiting for test results, so I called my boss about an hour ago to say I wouldn't be in. Since then I've been pinned down by dcat2 and recently joined by dcat1 as well. Bliss! Although I could do with some breakfast but dare not wake a sleeping cat.

It's DS's indoor rabbit's second birthday today so we will make him a vegetable cake as DS says his favourite thing is eating. Xmas Grin

Our silkie chickens are out of their co-op and had breakfast.

The cat is cuddling DH. We had a practise Christmas dinner last night, not collecting our Xmas food until 24th at 1pm so hoping it's all OK.

It's been a very emotional few days here but last night I fell asleep spooning the big dog, now sat with the little dog sharing a sausage sarnie Smile. Animals always comfort me. Sat around in leggings with just a tshirt and will hot cloth cleanse my face when I can be bothered to move. Just enjoying watching the rain.

treening · 21/12/2020 09:25

I LOVE rabbits. We had about ten growing up. I still miss them.

Happy birthday rabbit!

Love this thread, thanks op!

I’m pottering about tidying. Work tonight. But currently sat by the fire watching the birds on the bird feeders. Cats are zooming around throwing their toys at each other. Happy days.

Chottie · 21/12/2020 12:27

I'm sitting in bed, watching White Christmas and crocheting :)

bearlyactive · 21/12/2020 12:31

Can I join? Currently on Day 8 of my self-isolation post-positive test result, and absolutely climbing the walls!!! Today I've done some work, and that's about it Grin

OrangeGinLemonFanta · 21/12/2020 12:39

The Christmas Snacks Shop came yesterday. Too early. It will need to be topped up in the Co-op. I have no self restraint in the face of a pringles can with a cute penguin on it.

Bargebill19 · 21/12/2020 12:42

Mmmmm Pringles. Has anyone see the cinnamon and sugar ones??

muckypaws · 21/12/2020 12:49

I've just come back from taking the dog out for a long walk in the mud and rain and now he is zonked out in the kitchen so I can read the end of my book in peace and drink coffee.

Whodofthunk · 21/12/2020 12:53

Shock these sound immense!
Flowerblue · 21/12/2020 12:58

Hang on. Cinnamon and sugar Pringles? Where please? Dd is revising for her mocks, dh is working from home and I am about to go and finish repainting the bathroom with the help of a long podcast. Looking forward to Upstart Crow Christmas special tonight and a small glass of ginger wine.

I’ve no idea where to find them - saw them in an advert in one of the Sunday glossies.
Two new flavours - can’t recall what the other one was, but think was something like curry??

mrswhiplington · 21/12/2020 14:16

I'm just waiting for my banana bread to finish baking. It smells delicious. I'm a cleaner in a school and have now finished for the holidays. So nice not to have to go in today and face all the mess. Baking is relaxing for me. Wish I could make a living from it.

Flowerblue · 21/12/2020 14:25

So very floofy. Most floofable. Sorting out dd’s maths revision-I think she needs a tutor as I am not in the slightest bit qualified to help. She’s now stopped and is eating Christmas cookies.

SilkiesnowchicksandXmastreecat · 21/12/2020 15:16

That's a beautiful floofy cat you have there treening

Thanks for rabbits birthday wishes Bargebill

Talking of floofiness this is Snowy, one of our silkie chickens, DS chose the breed for floofiness.

Here is some good news. I went for my scan and by some miracle the baby looked just fine and heart rate was normal. Truly feels like a little (1.8cm!) Christmas miracle. I'm in bed eating toast and wondering how I can sat here like this when I was so sure it would be bad news. Hot buttered toast is hard to beat! x

torthecatlady · 24/12/2020 08:21

Nothing better than toast and bed! Great news, make sure you take it easy!! Smile

bearlyactive · 24/12/2020 08:38

That's wonderful news Three!

Chocolatecake29 · 24/12/2020 08:52

Lovely thread🙂 and love seeing all the pet pictures 💓

I've had a lovely sleep and a lie in, and currently enjoying a cup of tea. The weather is finally half decent (ie, it's not pissing down with rain,) so we're finally able to get outside for a walk!

BenoneBeauty · 24/12/2020 16:47

Amazing news @Threecouldbefour - so pleased for you!
