For me, a little cottage beside a lake in Italy.
Where are you going?

New York for my 50th. I think I’ll be closer to 52 before it’s ok to go.

I think it’s unlikely other countries are going to open their borders until the levels of vaccination take up is significant. They would be risking further outbreaks of the virus in their own country .
In my head I have the list of places for us to visit - it’s getting longer.

Our April trip to the Netherlands has been moved to next Easter, so that probably.

Then I'd like to do a week on a Greek beach in the summer. Dh is itching to go snowboarding but guess that will be 2022.

I'm in the far east. The restrictions on entering the country I am in will wipe out any thoughts of a holiday ( compulsory 14 day quarantine confined to your hotel room). Unless the number of cases fall to a minuscule number certain countries will continue to close their borders. Whilst the west continues to move around the virus could take years to be brought under control.

First time in 55 years I've not had a holiday. Luckily it's 28 degrees here, the beaches are empty and the beers still cold.

Burger - I’m desperate to travel to see my family in Belgium and DH’s in Canada and the US but can’t see it happening for quite a long while. I’m crossing my fingers that the virus spread will start to reduce as the number of people vaccinated increases.

I don’t know. I cancelled a trip to California this year which was going to be a big holiday for me and the kids but now I don’t know if I want to go or even if we’d be able to.

London. The pandemic caught me in another country, I was meant to move there full-time in August. I had no chance to say goodbye to my friends and my family there. I went back for a week in July to organise all my furniture etc being shipped over, barely managed to see anyone. I miss spending a Sunday with friends at Southbank. I miss my favourite restaurant. I miss the people in London...

@Ikeameatballs same here. We were due to do pacific coast highway but I don’t see it happening next year at all. I’ve lost enthusiasm for it to be honest which is a shame as I’ve never been to that part of the states. Maybe in a couple of years.

We have a voucher for our hotel in Majorca we had booked for 2020. It I am prepared to just throw it away and do something we really want.

No idea yet as I am still not convinced we can do anything amazing next summer.
