I've got a fortnightly Asda slot. I was able to book a slot for 23rd December ages ago. I shop for next door and a support bubble friend, and the latter gets Tesco or Morrisons slots and shops for me too. Neither of us have any trouble getting an Iceland delivery if we need one.

in my area Ocado has slots for tomorrow and I'm not even on a delivery saver with them. Morrisons has slots from the 26th.

Sainsbury has slots from the 25th and I can see the Christmas ones too as I do have a delivery saver with them. They have lots of slots for 21/22 December that no one is taking. Eventually if delivery saver customers don't take them they will appear for everyone else.

Tesco has some slots (in my area) for each week until Christmas but the Christmas ones have gone. ( I have a delivery saver for them too)

If you suspect you're not seeing the weeks you're supposed to be seeing clear the browser cache and disable any adblocking software for that site. And/or try the app if there is one.

Sainsbury is very flaky and shows different views in different browsers.

In past years I have found some slots open up nearer to Christmas as people hold on to slots with more than one store. I would imagine this is the case even more so this year or people have booked slots for other family members while we wait to see what the Christmas arrangements bubble wise will be, if they are allowed to mix that may well open up some slots.

Has anyone tried to book Tesco beyond 31st Dec? My mum booked for 7th Jan today but I can now only see dates up to 24th Dec, despite having a booking in for 31st Dec!!

Floralnomad · 27/11/2020 19:20

@SuperFairy I’d booked Dec 30th a week or so ago and I’ve just looked and it’s only showing until Dec 24th like yours .

Mol1628 · 27/11/2020 19:40

I booked a Tesco for January 2nd yesterday

SuperFairy · 27/11/2020 19:56

Thanks @Floralnomad

I’m going to keep checking, they must have changed the available dates sometime today as my mum booked hers this morning.

What’s really annoying is that my weekly reminder went off at 10am and I was busy at work and forgot to log on until my mum texted this evening to say she had booked hers!

We have delivery passes with 3 supermarkets (Tesco, Ocado, Waitrose) -all anytime ones and can get slots with all of them, although Waitrose is the hardest since Covid.

We always have 4 weeks ahead and I booked 2 Ocado Christmas slots back in Oct I think, we live rurally though and it’s important to us (we bought shopping for our neighbours in the first lockdown so we shared the benefit).

Iceland emailed me today giving me the opportunity to reserve one for the week before Xmas. Tesco and Asda slots went weeks ago. Sainsburys has a calendar on the website of when slots will be released.

Rememberallball · 30/11/2020 13:28

Lots of Sainsbury’s slots available for the 21st this morning and we’ve grabbed one but are contemplating moving it to the 22nd if we can or 23rd if not so stuff is freshest for over Christmas but we still have time to get things if not available!!

wibdib · 02/12/2020 10:48

Don’t suppose anyone knows what time the Sainsbury’s slots for 23rd December are opened today by any chance please?

I thought I’d read it was from10 onwards but they’re not showing as available yet...
