@lucysmam

I do subscribe to the delivery saver 🤷‍♀️ I'll have a look using the laptop.
I'd get in touch with them. I get 4 weeks on the app. Take some screen shots to prove you're not seeing the full 4 weeks, and try for a refund (or at least vouchers).
TheGreatWave · 21/11/2020 13:20

It must be an area thing, I have just been on Sainsbury's to book mine for next week, still a couple of slots for tomorrow and plenty after that. Asda have loads available too, we have very high case rates at present as well.

If you really need a delivery slot look at Iceland, they usually have slots available and you can get a good range of foods.

Rememberallball · 21/11/2020 13:25

Sainsbury’s are not releasing theirs till next week onwards and over 4 days (so, if you don’t get the first day, you can keep trying!!). No chance with Asda or Tesco when they released their dedicated Christmas slots but I do have a regular Asda slot for the 20th if nothing else comes up!!

In my area there’s no problem getting Asda slots in the day time; evenings are trickier though

Crunchymum · 21/11/2020 13:43

Sainsburys are releasing slots earlier to delivery pass holders

I'm a Tesco delivery saver and have weekly slots until 31st December. If you pay for delivery saver you should be able to see all of December now.

If you don't make enough orders to make a delivery pass viable I believe Tesco gives you vouchers for the difference at the end of the plan.

WishIWasSomewhereElse · 21/11/2020 15:19

I'm a Sainsbury's anytime pass holder, and I haven't heard about advance dates for Christmas deliveries. When I look on the site it said the slots are bookable from December?

vanillandhoney · 21/11/2020 15:32

I'm with Morrisons and can get a slot for tomorrow if I want it.

Our Christmas slot is also booked but there's pretty much nothing left if I look now.

Pipandmum · 21/11/2020 15:35

I'm a Tesco delivery saver customer and after three hours in the queue the day they were released only managed a click and collect for Dec 23.
For non Christmas delivery have had no problems booking.

ScrapThatThen · 21/11/2020 15:38

I'm in a spat with morrisons about lack of Christmas slot, I think the website must have been glitchy when I kept trying and now no Christmas slots left. Very irritating.

PodgeBod · 21/11/2020 15:40

I'm the same as Lucysmam I am a delivery pass customer but can only book 2 slots! I will get in contact with them. I gave up a delivery slot for Dec 1st today because there was one available for Monday and I can only have 2. Feeling slightly cross now

Tumbleweed101 · 21/11/2020 15:56

I read here the other day that if using the app then you need to click the calendar to bring up more dates. I am a delivery saver customer and have weekly slots up til end of December now. I was doing this long before Covid and lockdown as I'm a long way from town.

Floralnomad · 21/11/2020 16:03

Tesco delivery saver customers can book NYE week now as well , I’ve currently got the next 6 weeks booked .

lucysmam · 21/11/2020 16:08

@Tumbleweed101 I never knew that! Thank you very much, I appreciate it :)

PodgeBod · 21/11/2020 16:13

Thank you Tumbleweed, I didnt realise you could do that

SOboredofcleaning · 21/11/2020 21:03

Just normal online shopping.
All slots look to be booked up for as long as it will show dates.
You'd think the supermarkets might have sorted this out by now. It's been a while!

Thanks for the tip re: Sainsbury's xmas slots!

I just meant any delivery. Ever.

How do you book a regular slot????

OP posts:
mynameiscalypso · 21/11/2020 21:12

Which supermarket? I use Ocado and there are lots of slots available all of next week from Monday onwards

Floralnomad · 21/11/2020 21:58

@SOboredofcleaning it must just be the area you live in as I’ve just looked and I could get a Tesco delivery tomorrow or Monday if I wanted one .

TicTacTwo · 21/11/2020 21:58

You book the maximum it will allow then each time you receive a delivery you book the next so you have a rolling amount.

Some companies used to allow you to book a regular slot (Ocado ? Asda?) but I use the method above to get a weekly slot. Have booked until 31st December with Tesco Delivery Saver

This is what I do every week, and I have booked up to the 31st Dec as well Smile

Floralnomad · 21/11/2020 22:12

@TicTacTwo that’s the way I do it as well as I can more or less guarantee to get the same slot each week that way which is much easier for planning what to get and not forgetting to update the list .

ILikeBiscuits · 23/11/2020 01:02

I have a Sainsbury’s Delivery Pass, and currently I can book a slot at any time on Monday 21st December and any time between noon and 11:30pm on Sunday December 20th.

It’s not yet possible to book between 8th and 19th December.

PucePanther · 23/11/2020 01:12

Most supermarkets seem to be allowing customers who prepay for delivery passes to book further in advance. Which means there’s very little left for anyone else. You need to pick a supermarket, get yourself on the prepaid delivery plan and stay on!

IHaveBrilloHair · 23/11/2020 01:19

I have a weekly Asda slot, I got it ages ago as I can't go shopping myself.
I don't really need Christmas food though, its just me so normal food with a bit of extra cheese and some pigs in blankets Grin
