Has anyone made hot chocolate using an orange Aero?

I really fancy a chocolate orange flavour hot chocolate. I have an orange Aero bar in the fridge, it should work, right? If I melt it in a pan of milk and whisk it all up?

Ooh let us know how it goes OP. I wonder if one bar would be enough though? I hate weak hot chocolate.

Greenemerald they usually appear in the shops at Christmas. They're the bigger bars usually about £1 each.

Yes, they’ve been around for a long time, I used to get them out of the vending machine at high school in 1999 (I went to a lot of high schools so I can tell you the exact year 😂). They’re much harder to come by these days though. Aldi do a good version all the time though.

We make hot chocolate with hot milk and a spoonful of nutella & call it camping hot choc because that's where we first made it. I've started adding a few extra squares of ordinary dark chocolate to the milk & Nutella and just microwave it then whisk. Delicious!

Melt it slowly in milk and whisk it in. I'd go it but I have a velvetiser now with orange and chocolate sachets

No but I do put milk in to the jar with the last bit of Nutella and then stick it in the microwave!

DTs have informed me this is the way to go!

Tesco used to do a chocolate orange spread, it was like eating melted Terry chocolate orange on toast. I can't understand why they don't sell it any more.

Crush the Flake up in the wrapper before you open it

Do you put marshmallows in, squirty cream and then chocolate sprinkles on top too OP? I've been known to crush a flake to put on top too
