Sobbing over Children in Need - been hopeless ever since we had DD. It really makes you count your blessings. Popping reduced posh Co - Op pizzas in the oven soon. Working tomorrow then not sure what we’re doing. I’m making cottage pie for tea ( was supposed to do it tonight). DH making moussaka on Sunday. Yum. Looking forward to I’m A Celebrity, although not sure how it’s going to work in a Welsh castle instead of the Aussie jungle!

Baking, homework and housework. Meant to rain all weekend, so no chance of even having a "nice family walk" Hmm

But yes CIN makes you realise how lucky you are!

EternalOptimist7 · 13/11/2020 20:32

Anyone out there??

Just you and me Grin Clearly lock down in winter doesn't make for interesting reading or posting!?

vodkaredbullgirl · 13/11/2020 21:58

Working nights all weekend.

WitchesBritchesPumpkinPants · 13/11/2020 22:01

I was going to watch CIN, but decided to watch the news first & Im still here waiting for Trumps announcement.

I'm looking forward to not having to get up in the dark & be on my way to work in the dark. I'll still wake up at 5:30, but I won't have to get up, shower & be in the car before the sun is up!

Beyond that, not sure. Bliss 🙂

missyB1 · 13/11/2020 22:05

Will have to drag the dog out out in the rain tomorrow morning - she hates getting wet but will be unbearable if she doesn’t go out.

Dh is working (NHS), I will make spicy shepherds pie and an apple crumble.
Also supervise ds homework and do some housework. Sigh... bloody bored of lockdown.

DramaLlama12 · 13/11/2020 22:11

Fuck all fuck all and fuck all .
I’m furlough so enjoying the constant nightwear during the daytime everyday wear
I plan to cook though as normally I’d be at work afternoon / lateshifts so wouldn’t cook
Oh I’m partial to James Martin on a Saturday and the 4 episodes of Columbo I’ve already watched before a Sunday that pretty much takes me the whole afternoon into early evening
Again I work weekends normally so loving this difference

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 13/11/2020 22:16

The rest of the household are gaming, I'm lying in bed 7 months preg6like a beached whale.
Tomorrow fp is working and going to football so no car for me so will have a lazy day in with the kids. I say lazy but the youngest never sits still! Hoping to get food delivered from a restaurant tomorrow night, a fancy one. Tried last weekend but they were fully booked 🙄
Sunday going to ikea to get drawers for the new baby, and probably buy a load of other crap that I shouldn't waste money on and don't need. Hopefully the kids will stay with dp because they distract me too much in the shops.

changeisasgoodas · 13/11/2020 22:16

Dramalama, what's your job? I'm dreaming of being on furlough as I'm so exhausted.

housemdwaswrong · 13/11/2020 22:16

Well, stupidly, I fell yesterday, and have managed to break my ankle. So for me, it's whatever I can manage to do while sitting down. Sort out computer connection for 1, order a new footrest from somewhere, as well as various delightful household type things.

Not too interesting, though I am looking for ways to decorate my annoyingly black and somber-looking walking boot.

VioletCharlotte · 13/11/2020 22:22

I've booked on to do a Zoom yoga class at 9 tomorrow morning. I'm hoping to walk up to the weekly food market, but I think the weathers meant to be rubbish. Will have to put my waterproofs on at some point though and walk the dog and I also need to drop a birthday present to my friend.

Other than that, I'll be cleaning the house and probably doing some batch cooking and maybe some baking.

Pipandmum · 13/11/2020 22:30

Just came back from a trip to london so my daughter could take sixth form entry exams, which involved an overnight stay. Applying for schools has been stressful and three interviews and three entrance exams this past week. At least four interviews to go. Plus we have the house on the market and had three viewings this week, and keeping the house tip top is also stressful! And I did my taxes. So this weekend I want to do absolutely nothing (laundry, cooking and cleaning are just part of daily routine).

DramaLlama12 · 13/11/2020 22:35

@changeisasagoodas* .. leisure industry x2 .
I work 2 jobs and one volunteering ( which is not closed )
I start anywhere between 5.30am-10.15pm so don’t sleep well
Am trying to keep busy with the volunteer work so not to be bored because it’s all I have at the moment and trying to not suffer mentally .. I’m not used to having so much time on my hands
((((Try to take some time for yourself ))))) ..furlough is ok in the very short term for me that works multiple jobs and I’m thinking it’s only one month .. the lockdown 1 ... nah ...
The last one fucked me right up which I’m still trying to get over .. can u try book 2 days together annual leave ?
Like many tho sick leave doesn’t exist and SSP at £94 a week is insulting

Vivana · 13/11/2020 22:55

A lie in on Saturday and learning some bits for new job I start on Monday. Sunday not sure yet

Crunchymum · 13/11/2020 22:55

Lockdown birthday for both eldest and DP.

Sadly won't be much going on. We have lots of lego to build and an indoor bouncy castle. Kids will have MacD for dinner and we'll have a posh mezze and champers a bit later. Feel a bit bad serving DP a big mac for his 40th Shock

Sunday we'll catch up on homework and chores.

Passthecake30 · 13/11/2020 22:58

Lie in, cleaning, partners accounts and being bored while the preteens ignore me. Looking forward to I’m a celeb. I’m knackered so a lazy weekend will do me good.

MrsJonesAndMe · 14/11/2020 06:20

Oh no @housemdwaswrong what a pain!

housemdwaswrong · 14/11/2020 06:24

@Mrsjonesandme thank you, and yes. Though I slept well, which is helpful!

Bluewavescrashing · 14/11/2020 06:31

Not much. I'm a teacher and absolutely shattered. Also a child sneezed literally in my face a few days ago and I've now got a heavy cold. No covid symptoms luckily although several children in my class are isolating due to positive cases in their household.

Films, playing with my DCs, sleeping.

jan9876 · 14/11/2020 06:31

Its hard to think of things to do. Raining all day here. I woke up early to get a bit of me time. Probably tidying and cleaning today, maybe try to find some fun zoom class for dc. Gaming. Reading. Hate the thought of lazing about all day but after the morning thats what I end up doing.

Dotinthecity · 14/11/2020 06:37

Lie in here, then a wander around the local garden centre which is known for its lavish Christmas displays. Quick trip into M&S for some nice nibbles and some pizzas for tonight. Tomorrow we're eating out main meal at 1ish then having a n evening buffet whilst we watch I'm a Celebrity. We'll probably fit in a walk tomorrow afternoon too. Happy weekend everyone!

GingerandTilly · 14/11/2020 06:39

Last night we all sat out in the garden round the fire pit drinking hot choc and eating marshmallows. We wrapped up in blankets and warm clothes but the kids loved it. Saturday mornings mean pancakes for breakfast then online music lessons for the kids. We will also wrap up and take our dog out for a couple of walks - but will just do the woods if it’s going to be wet. Sunday will be homework for kids, more dog walks and roast dinner.

NoGoodPunsLeft · 14/11/2020 06:41

Not looking forward to this one because if the rain. We're collecting an afternoon tea for lunch, was going to make DH & DD go for a walk first but if it's raining we won't bother.

Bit of homework, way too much tv & probably a couple of board games.

I'll pop to my mum's to stand in her garden for a chat, or she'll come here so she can see DD (DD apparently thinks she'll melt if she's out in rain 🙄)

NoGoodPunsLeft · 14/11/2020 06:42

@Dotinthecity ooh a love a Christmas display at a garden centre, I'll suggest that for Sunday.

Foghead · 14/11/2020 06:47

We’ll get out at some point this weekend. There’s a large park with a lake that is paved quite well so I’ll take the kids there.
Lots of laundry and housework need doing. I’ve got some work and dcs have homework.
We have take away and a film tonight.
