[quote LintonTravelTavern]On reflection of my suggestion of varnishing the little squish of joy, I would still like you to do that, but can you glue a little magnet on the back and stick him/her on your fridge please?

The monkeys are amazing. I have to bring bags of them back with me when I visit the UK. It's sweet liquorice too, not the revolting salmiac stuff.
In return my aunt buys the M&S fizzy pig tails, which we can't get here.

I once made a pigs in mud chocolate cake with a chocolate wafer picket fence and Biggetjes/ Percy Pigs in chocolate ganache. The cake itself was chocolate sponge with cherry jam.........

YellowEllis no, I’m going to create a fridge magnet as suggested by Linton Halloween Grin

It’s Brexit innit, the forriners are finding new ways to sneak in
I blame Angela Merkel

I'm really looking forward to the day OP has a friend or family member round who asks where she got her lovely fridge magnet from.

OP I think you need to ask for this thred to be deleted for not being in the spirit of MN Grin

You posted a question which was almost immediately answered correctly.

You were advised to contact the company to let them know what had happened. You did this without any of the usual "oh I can't do that because *insert preposterous reason of choice"

You actually responded to people kind enough to post and took their very sensible advice.

The company responded with a gesture of goodwill which you (and others) find perfectly acceptable.

There's a smattering of lightheartedness too - all without any need for any sort of disclaimer/apology.

You got a £10 voucher and an apology and the person who found a manky hair bobble in her fish fingers only got offered a refund? That's a joke!

She could have choked on the bobble.
