Through no fault of my own my inability to say No and Clarify Things In Advance I am up working on a deadline which I really need to finish so tomorrow is less stressful I can start working on the next one and I can have a breather at lunchtime.

I do have chocolate so at least this part was good planning Grin.

I'm pregnant and woke up feeling very sick and hungry, so I'm downstairs eating cereal and the cat has joined me 🐈. This used to be a nightly occurrence but only about weekly now!! (14+3)

Monkeyseesmonkeydoesnt · 10/11/2020 03:00

I'm up with my 2 day old trying to 'breastfeed. Forgot how hard it is!

OhToBeASeahorse · 10/11/2020 03:04

vipersinc · 10/11/2020 03:08

Because I woke up and can't sleep...again Confused

whoeverthrewthatpaperyamomsaho · 10/11/2020 03:11

Because I'm upset about my "boyfriend" ignoring me and not listening or caring about my feelings and also because I can't sleep and have an appointment tomorrow with the consultant to discuss requested c section at 36 weeks and don't know what to expect and worried they might try and tell me no

User258544 · 10/11/2020 03:41

@NotMeNoNo Gave up and decided to sleep then go for a 4am wonder deadline sprint. Just getting up and cursing.

I fell asleep at about 7.30pm and woke up just after 2am Blush and now just online. Felt bad as DH had cooked a Thai curry, DS refused it ASD, DD refused it and I fell asleep straight after he brought it me - also not helped by DD giving me lots of chocolate orange segments before which I couldn't resist. Was sorting out lots for house sale yesterday and think I just got exhausted.

TheJourneyWoman · 10/11/2020 03:45

Because my dog has kennel cough and while he's fine in himself apart from that I was worried about him and couldn't sleep properly so had to check on him and now he's in the bedroom coughing away occasionally because I can't bear to leave him alone.

vodkaredbullgirl · 10/11/2020 03:51

12 1/2 hour night shift

MonicaGellerBing · 10/11/2020 04:31

My arsehole DH woke up at 2.30am to play some live event on his PlayStation and he woke our 3 year old up, she still hasn't gone back to sleep and is currently laid in bed clapping and singing and I now have the runs from the spicy chicken we had for tea. No point trying to go back to sleep now I'll just nap when kids are at school/nursery

thismeansnothing · 10/11/2020 04:43

I'm at work. I work in a supermarket doing the online shop picking. On my break now and my god I need it today

MonicaGellerBing · 10/11/2020 04:44

@thismeansnothing do you do the shopping literally from the shop floor or in the warehouse?

thekoalassocks · 10/11/2020 04:52

Had bad dreams, woke up at 2.45 and haven't been able to get back to sleep. It's my office day today so I need to be up in 90 mins and have a long commute. Soooo tempted to swap my office day and stay home!

thismeansnothing · 10/11/2020 04:56

@monicagellarbing at my branch it's from the shop floor. But we do have 2 warehouses that are picked from but they cover London branches.

thismeansnothing · 10/11/2020 04:57

@monicalgellerbing

whoeverthrewthatpaperyamomsaho · 10/11/2020 04:59

@thismeansnothing I wanted a job like that but couldn't find where to apply for one I live in Wakefield

DinosApple · 10/11/2020 05:01

I had a bad dream too, dreamt one of the kids at school ran out of the gate into the road. Glad I woke up!

SpongeWorthy · 10/11/2020 05:03

Frozen shoulder here. Gah, no idea how I'm going to get back to sleep but I'm absolutely exhausted and feel very grumpy.

thismeansnothing · 10/11/2020 05:07

I was made redundant in April and needed something to fit round childcare and quickly. It's physically hard work but I love it

whoeverthrewthatpaperyamomsaho · 10/11/2020 05:07

My sleep cycle is so fucked up I hate being awake all night long until the morning then sleeping through the day I try to stay awake until night time after doing an all nighter but I end up taking a little nap putting on an alarm and then sleeping through it right until 11pm again 😡😡😡😡 I can't break the cycle 😭😭😭😭 I have an important appointment today with the consultant at 5 o clock and just know I'm going to be exhausted

whoeverthrewthatpaperyamomsaho · 10/11/2020 05:08

@thismeansnothing is it with an agency or with the actual supermarket? What's the job role actually called

MonkeyPuddle · 10/11/2020 05:12

I’m currently feeding 8 day old DD. My right breast is a blimp of milk and we struggle to latch it. Fuuuuun.

Frownette · 10/11/2020 05:23

I just watched a video of John Lyndon (sex pistols). He seems like a nice person.

thismeansnothing · 10/11/2020 06:08

It's with the actual supermarket....I'm at Waitrose and the job title when I applied was 'Customer Service Assistant - Night Replenishment' or something along those lines. I applied expecting it to be shelf stacking. But at interview they said it was picking. But I found it through JLP jobs website
