Through no fault of my own my inability to say No and Clarify Things In Advance I am up working on a deadline which I really need to finish so tomorrow is less stressful I can start working on the next one and I can have a breather at lunchtime.

I do have chocolate so at least this part was good planning Grin.

I'm supposed to be prepping all my paperwork for a meeting with my childs school who have taken me to the very edge regarding the woeful lack of SEND provision, which they are blaming on Covid obviously. They keep sending DV home after only an hour so I'm really behind but feeling determined !

BreathlessCommotion · 09/11/2020 23:53

I drank too much coffee today! So I'm tired but can't sleep.

Christmaspud20 · 10/11/2020 00:03

Dh delayed at work. He left at 7am. A job over run then had issues the customer needs the vehicle 1st thing in the morning. He starts again at 8am! I have gone to bed tho as warmer and I'm so sleepy

Itsnotagazebo · 10/11/2020 00:07

This evening I read the Rachel Clarke book Dear Life.
It's about palliative care. I'll be needing that sooner than I want. I want to scream that I cannot leave my children.

ozymandiusking · 10/11/2020 00:08

Having watched Rob Rinder on BBC 1 ( so Sad)
I'm now watching BBC 4 a programme about Berlin in the war.
So, Still up.

8 month sleep regression 😴

36degrees · 10/11/2020 00:13

Flowers for you, gazebo.

I'm up because of nippy horrible cystitis pain. Day 2.5 of antibiotics and it had gone away this morning but came back with a vengeance tonight.

babbi · 10/11/2020 00:15

@Greenbks I’m so sorry for your loss ...take care and be kind to yourself.
@DreadingSeason2020sFinale .. so sorry to hear that about your dad . Very sad .. take care x

hotubhannah · 10/11/2020 00:21

Bloody hell gazebo sending you love and screaming for you too❤ I'm awake worrying about an arse at work and it's stressing me out when I should be counting my blessings

Oliversmumsarmy · 10/11/2020 00:23

Because it is still early.

User258544 · 10/11/2020 00:28

Last night I was asleep well before 10pm and I'd definitely be in bed by 9 on a Monday but I've got a random Tuesday off yay so I'm watching the west wing and feeling relaxed... I'm a natural night owl but force myself to bed normally as have fo be up early for work.

justwinginglife1 · 10/11/2020 00:37

Promised my son I would stay up and try and order the new Xbox online - he has been saving all year and just sold his Nintendo to get enough money together. Thankfully managed to get one but now I'm wide awake! Usually asleep by 11 😂

tywysoges · 10/11/2020 00:48

Same as justwinging but DH instead of DS Grin and I didn’t manage to get one (yet) - 🤞🏾for the 8 o’clock release.

If you aren't already keep an eye on the below link. Microsoft had the series x in stock around 11:30. Series s keeps going in and out too

Sunbird24 · 10/11/2020 01:01

I had an unexpected nap this afternoon which has thrown my body clock off. Nearly 7 weeks pregnant so hormones flying all over the place.
@Itsnotagazebo I would scream for you too, praying you get as many days as possible, it’s just not fair x

Frownette · 10/11/2020 01:04

I had a catnap in the evening so am fully awake now.

Sorry to those with losses Flowers

SpikedTea · 10/11/2020 01:05

Emergency worker that finished shift 3 hours late. Been awake since 4am, can never sleep after a busy shift.

tywysoges · 10/11/2020 01:06

justwinginglife1, I’m after the x, silly me was not expecting an early slip and missed that! I’ll keep an eye on the link though, thank you ☺️

Frownette · 10/11/2020 01:10

@SpikedTea it's funny isn't it, I was talking to a couple of guys who do the late shift at local supermarket (shuts at 12am), one of them goes straight to sleep when he gets home and the other needs several hours downtime before bed.

I'd need downtime myself!

babycakes1010 · 10/11/2020 01:11

Suppose to be one night shift but was waiting on ds4 covid results... thankfully negative so back onto nights tomorrow

SpikedTea · 10/11/2020 01:14

I cant sleep for at least 2 to 3 hrs after getting home as I need to relax and digest whats happened on shift. If I go straight to bed I just end up thinking what I could have done or shouldn't have done. Plus I see things most shifts no one should have too.

Ideasplease322 · 10/11/2020 01:24

I can’t sleep. Off work this week so had a glass of wine before bed. That might be it😊

Ideasplease322 · 10/11/2020 01:24

I can also hear my next door neighbour snoring😂😂😂

NotMeNoNo · 10/11/2020 01:32
