Did anyone else notice that Joe Biden looks like he has something brewing ? He looked washed out and breathless. I realise that these last few days have probably amassed a few sleepless nights, but usually the adrenaline would keep you going.

Trump looks and sounds like a ranging nutcase.

I personally thought Biden looked a bit shaky walking to the podium - but he’s 77 - he’s likely to be a bit tired by all of this .

However I think he’s conducting himself like a true statesman , I really hope he wins .

I’ve also noticed newspapers showing him as a young man with his wife, but this just shows the contrast now.
He is just too doddery.

I don’t think Trump is better. They are both too old.

He looks like an old man in an incredibly stressful situation. I like Biden, but it's ridiculous that he ran for president at this age.

Adrenaline is designed for crisis situations not for ongoing work stress. It's meant to either give us the energy to physically fight our aggressor or run for the hills and I'm hoping that Biden does neither.

This election is one of the most (the most?) closely contested for some time and has one candidate who is a loose cannon in every sense of the word. That combined with lack of sleep means anybody would look less than at their best.

He just needs to last until January 20.

I hope Biden wins and I hope he completes his 4 year term.
But even if he 'handed over' to Harris on Jan 20th, 2021 due to short or long term illness, he would have done the US (and the world re climate change agreements) a great favour by beating Trump

I haven't seen JB on TV but gosh he sounds wonderful on radio. Such a nice man. Mitch O'Connell looks very ill, if we want to talk about unknown health of senior US politicians.

I've heard that said on podcasts recently. Maybe his conscience his trying to dig it's way out of the deep, dark hole where his soul should be.

It is definitely not unreasonable to worry that he might have caught covid. It would be shit timing but not impossible

He has a pretty severe stutter and changing out words is his way of bringing himself out of being trapped in it. He doesn't have Alzheimer's and he's not confused just a severe speech impediment.

He looks like a very healthy benevolent grandpa (when not sleazing on young girls)
I thought his speech about masks was excellent.
