It's clearly a setup of some kind, but it makes no sense what or why. It's not good promo for a costume drama where they play father and daughter. Not great promo for either of them individually. Who's getting the boost here? Maybe her, but that's a dangerous game.

Ooooh, they used to be neighbours of mine in Chiswick. There's a lot of gossip there. Doctor's longtime female best friend who used to be his constant companion went on their honeymoon with them, after spending their entire wedding day tweeting about how she was crying hysterically, and making a powerpoint for the wedding reception celebrating him. That friend met, started dating and married Daughter's male best friend within a matter of months. When Doctor went off to live in America for six months filming, the male best friend moved in or at least was staying overnight with Daughter. It came out when there was a fire or something in the middle of the night and they had to evacuate.
I don't know what's going on. Wife swapping? How retro.
I thought I saw some posts earlier discussing 'those' photos of Lily in the park with the Doctor's former onscreen Companion (different set from the Chris Evans park photos) but I must have seen them elsewhere. Hmm.
