Am I the only one with magpie tendencies when wearing my dressing gown, I just went to wash mine and cannot believe the junk I’ve e picked up and put in there

Odd socks, dog treats, nit comb, chewed up things (6 month old lab puppy!)

Anything that fits goes in there, then I forget its in there. I find them especially good for hiding chocolate wrappers. I think if I lived in the 50s I would be one of those ladies who constantly wore a tabard/housecoat.

Once DD had a complete meltdown because she dropped her tooth and couldn't find it to put under her pillow for the tooth fairy. I was able to retrieve the last tooth that the tooth fairy had been left (a few weeks before) from my dressing gown pocket and pretend I'd found the lost one so that DD could go to bed happy

Found husband's lost wedding ring in the pocket of mine... he had put it down somewhere and I had found it and pocketed it with the intention of giving it back, then promptly forgotten that I had it.

All I ever find is tissues and hair elastics.
