Work. I'm a nurse.

An operation on Monday. Not the operation as such, its small and I've had it before. It's all the testing for COVID beforehand, I have to drive down to get a test, terrified it will come up positive (although I haven't got anything, just afraid of false positives) and then have to isolate until Monday and drive down again. I have moved mountains to get the time off work, if I don't get this op and have to reschedule, I think work will hand me my P45 on the spot.....

The prospect of months and months more of Covid restrictions.

Presentations this afternoon for work.
Dentist tomorrow although i am in so much pain i'm kind of looking forward to it too.

Next Friday slightly - only slightly though. It's when I'll hear if I've kept my job in a redundancy pool. Odds are well on that I will be OK. But can't quite breathe freely until I know!

Dreading Jan/Feb a bit - COVID likely to be bad, Brexit will be awful and there will be mass panic as we are clearly going to leave without a deal and no mitigation in place for the consequences. I'm not conviced we'll run out of food, but certainly everything will get mega expensive.

Trying to get my anxious teenager into school tomorrow

Same, I just found out my DD's friend's (both at the same school) teacher has covid. How long before school closes I wonder, at the moment it's presumably bubbles as they don't teach my Dd but it's a small school.
