@Goldistheanswer

What could Trump do though, if he loses?
Obstruct the transition. He's already hinted that he won't go quietly.

I'm dreading, though, that he'll win. The polls were wrong last time.

The kidney stone pain that is mild and symptoms that have just started (feeling really nauseous and keep needing a wee but nothing coming) that has just woken me up as I know it's going to get really bad in an hour or two.

I've had 2 really bad episodes in the past 2 weeks when previously I'd never had it before. It's been absolutely unbearable, lasts a few hours of agony and then vanishes again.

SchmooobyDoo · 08/10/2020 02:13

Getting baby back to sleep after this feed...

ShalomToYouJackie · 08/10/2020 02:15

Also my 12 week scan in 2 weeks

Goldistheanswer · 08/10/2020 02:27

Grapewine How could Trump obstruct the transition? Surely he wouldn’t be able to do very much once he’s out of office?
Shalom hope you don’t have too much pain, it sounds horrible.

From November to January, the incoming administration will work with the outgoing one for a peaceful transition of power in the White House. I suspect he would put up roadblocks where he can, or even call the validity of the election result into question. He's been setting that up nicely with his comments about mail-in votes. I really hope I'm wrong, but I put nothing past this administration.

Happytobeme123 · 08/10/2020 02:39

Catching covid again. Not over the first time yet. I dont want the fear of death on my doorstep again. I dont want our bubble to pop at school either as teaching outside the class is trickier than what it appears.
Apart from that, everything is peachy Grin

NoSleepTil · 08/10/2020 02:56

Frownette · 08/10/2020 08:55

I'm tentatively waiting for news on something which I have a 10% chance of getting.

So have hope in my heart but am sure it will be a no, dreading hearing the no.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 08/10/2020 08:59

The possibility of schools closing again meaning I can't work and we have no income.

A works call in half an hour with external customers.

I think they are going to be very difficult and I'm dreading it.

Have you read stupid white men by Michael Myers?

I'm not into politics but this was a fascinating read.

SandysMam · 08/10/2020 09:36

My imminent total kidney failure, needing dialysis and a transplant which might not happen now thanks to COVID. Leaving my babies because of it Sad

Ding123 · 08/10/2020 09:43

Cleaning the bathroom and scrubbing the cooker/oven Grin
School bubbles bursting for both DC (dc2 in particular, he's quite... challenging at the moment)
Labour (35 weeks currently and 'the fear' is well and truly settling in).

Sandysmam wishing you luck

I'm dreading a lung biopsy for my 4yo
Bad chest infection and low sats currently ct has shown something abnormal in March and she has been well all summer.
Thought we were past all this

Latenightreader · 08/10/2020 10:02

I’m being made redundant in a few weeks and I have my first handover meeting tomorrow having been furloughed since late March. I’ve been asked for a long list of documents to bring in and I am convinced that I’m going to get into trouble because not all of them are complete (some my fault, some not). Thee is one big thing in particular I can get done, and I’d feel better if she’d say ‘fine, show it to me on x date’ but I have a feeling Boss just wants me to hand it all over and then be angry it isn’t complete, even though it would have been if not for Covid. I just want it to be over and done with.

SurreyHillsGirl · 08/10/2020 10:04
