Lardlizard · 07/10/2020 10:10

Live music. I know there have been some outside and indoor socially distanced gigs but I really miss proper indoor, sweaty, squashed against strangers gigs. Sad

ZuzuMyLittleGingersnap · 07/10/2020 10:38

Being able to hug my small nieces.
Ditto my 82yr old Mum Sad

noenergy · 07/10/2020 10:40

I'm missing holidays the most!!
Where can we go so we wouldn't have to quarantine in return?

Valkadin · 07/10/2020 10:41

Holidays, DH and I ballroom dancing class.

BogRollBOGOF · 07/10/2020 10:42

Spontenaity.
Stuff like just turning up at the pool for a splash session with the family on a grotty day.

BikeRunSki · 07/10/2020 10:43

My mum
We had formed a bubble, but she is 200 miles away. Now the dc are back at school, she won’t see us. She lives in an area with v low infections; we live in a high infection area, I get where she’s coming from and completely agree. Hate the situation though.

Foresttheout · 07/10/2020 10:46

My family, I'm an expat and now haven't seen my family in over a year. Usually I would make a long trip once a year and a few more spontaneous short trips. Who knows when I'll next get home.

Seeline · 07/10/2020 10:46

Singing with my choir. Zoom just doesn't cut it Sad

Asterion · 07/10/2020 10:47

Going to the cinema.

And going to the pub without being at the mercy of Track & Trace. So we don't go Sad

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 07/10/2020 10:48

My Cubs.
I get to see 15 of them tonight. (We are only allowed groups of 15).

Bumble84 · 07/10/2020 10:51

Visiting my family. I’m in Scotland so no visiting allowed at all.

Mrsfrumble · 07/10/2020 10:55

My mum! I haven’t seen her since February. She lives 200 miles away and we can only get to her by public transport as we don’t have a car. She’s in a local lock down area, and is very vulnerable health-wise so she feels the risk is too big. We speak on the phone all the time but I’d love to hug her.

Also the toddler group I used to run. I feel sad and guilty whenever I see posts on here from parents of babies and toddlers bemoaning the lack of groups and activities, but logistically it’s just not possible at the moment.

Elzbells · 07/10/2020 10:56

Being able to go to a theme park, or zoo or just for a wander around Primark without having to wear a mask, queue outside, social distance and follow arrows.

FairFriday · 07/10/2020 10:58

Not huge amounts. I’m a bit of a hermit though. Maybe eating out.

Samcro · 07/10/2020 11:00

being able to touch dd. not hugged since March.
she is disabled and in a residential setting, can't even visit at the moment.\really hard explaining this to someone with lds.
oh for a cuddle.

QuestionableMouse · 07/10/2020 11:01

My normal duties at work. What I'm doing now bears no resemblance to the stuff I'm meant to do and it's so hard. Sick of having to stop every customer at the door and ask a million questions.

sliderain · 07/10/2020 11:03

Live theatre and concerts, particularly family shows. We used to go to the theatre about once a month with DD, and we went to about ten shows around last Christmas with all the pantos and Christmas special events. Filling our time intead with lots of theme parks, zoos and museums now they're open but we really miss live entertainment. Some socially distanced shows for adults have started but nothing for younger audiences.

Champagneforeveryone · 07/10/2020 11:03

Selfish really, but holidays.

We've not been away for over a year and are currently on our third cancelled holiday. We have a big holiday next year as a result of all the money we've saved, but I cannot get overly excited about it in case it's cancelled again.

RevolutionRadio · 07/10/2020 11:04

Being able to see family properly especially now we're in a local lockdown area.

Comedy gigs, they all got rearranged but I think they will be rearranged again or cancelled depending how theatre's get on.

More generally just being able to go out and about with out worrying. We're still being fairly strict on where we go as one of us was in the shielding catagory.

Lardlizard · 07/10/2020 11:05

Just really don’t want the government to shut down U.K. hotels or restaurants
Again
That would tip me over the edge

Samcro are you now allowed to hug your dd?coudl you not break that rule
That seems inhumane

Parties at my house.
I love having friends round and making nice food and cocktails.
I miss going to gigs. I've not been to Manchester, Liverpool or Leeds since March.

I've been to a few hotels since August so that feels nice again.

ImNotWhoYouThinkIam · 07/10/2020 11:08

Coffee mornings in my local church. I went anywhere from 1-5 days per week for 10 years. As my anxiety got worse it was one if the only places I went. Now its closed :(
