Obviously they might be at school but if they’re 4 or will turn 4 in this academic year so will start school in Sept 3021.

My DC is doing 2 days a week 9-2.

Thanks :)

My DS is 4 in April, he currently does 4 days 8:50- 2:45 and he loves it. Ive just filled in his school application today for next September 😳

Mhschoolq · 30/09/2020 16:51

2 days a week 9-3 here, too. He’s almost 4. Tbh, would love to up that another day! Grin But he’s incredibly sociable so I have to play with him all day and he doesn’t really do independent play - so it’s quite tiring!

3 days a week at preschool, 9.15-2.45. She is 3 and turns 4 next August and starts school soon after. She was doing two but upped it to 3 as everything is still closed around us, swimming, groups, gym and she seems happier.

pollypork · 30/09/2020 17:21

9.00-3.00 M-F

pollypork · 30/09/2020 17:21

Oh & not 4 yet

ohidoliketobe · 30/09/2020 17:24

DD's Pre school is part of a childcare provision which offers wrap around care (breakfast club and after school for local primaries as well as the pre school) she does 2 x 8:30-5 and 1 x 7:30 - 5:30. Prior to starting there she went to the sister nursery and did the same hours.

aToadOnTheWhole · 30/09/2020 17:25

School nursery, 9-3:25 Monday to Friday. It's full time hours only, no options for half days etc.

DelurkingAJ · 30/09/2020 17:31

It was last year and pre COVID he did three days 9:15-12:00. In a normal year he would have gone up to four days and two lunch clubs (stay until 14:00) in the term he was 4. Childminder dropped off and collected, preschool was for socialisation and learning how to be in school!

CoodleMoodle · 30/09/2020 18:16

When DD was 4 she did give sessions across 4 days. We started with three sessions, then upped it to four after a few weeks, then five. By the end she did Mon, Tues and Thurs 8:45 - 11:45 and then home for lunch. On Wednesday she did 8:45 - 2:45 and had lunch there. Wednesday was her favourite day. And mine!

DS is starting in January and we're starting off with a couple of sessions, then adding more as he goes on.

Coriandersucks · 30/09/2020 18:20

vraimenthan · 30/09/2020 18:29

timothytoes · 30/09/2020 18:40

DD is 4 in November. She does 4 days a week 9-3:30 She enjoys it.

Noodledoodledoo · 30/09/2020 19:40

Last year 3 days 830-330, 2 days 830-1130. just started reception. Was 4 in August.

pastabest · 30/09/2020 19:47

Officially 4.5 days but on the days I'm not at work I let her decide if she wants to go or not.

StuntCroissant · 30/09/2020 19:48

My DD will be 4 in Nov. She does 7.30am - 4pm twice a week.

Modestandatinybitsexy · 30/09/2020 20:17

DS will be 4 in June and is doing weds to Friday 9-3, previously he was with MIL 8-4 4 days a week, he's still with her the two days he's not at preschool.

mindutopia · 30/09/2020 20:33

At 4, mine was in 9-5 5 days a week. She was actually bouncing off the walls every day when she first started school as 9-3 was such a short day and she was fairly under stimulated.

TeddyIsaHe · 30/09/2020 20:34

Dd is 4 in January and does 8:30-5:45 3 days a week. Will probably be 5 days a week in the next month or two as my work picks up again.

OverTheRainbow88 · 30/09/2020 20:35

5 days a week 9-12, then needs a nap!

ellesbellesxxx · 30/09/2020 21:36

My pre school twins do 8-430 three days a week

underneaththeash · 30/09/2020 21:40

My DS1 did 4 days 8.25-1.30, DS2 3 days 9-1 and DD 4 days 9-12 and one 9-1.

VirginiaWolverine · 30/09/2020 21:44

DD did 9-12 4 days a week. DS is younger, and the school had become mire popular by then and only offered 3 sessions a week.

Wonderwalk · 30/09/2020 21:45

My ds does 4 days a week, 2days 9am-3pm and 2 days 8:30-5pm

JimmyTheBrave · 30/09/2020 21:55

Not quite 4 but 9-12 five days a week.

I've been wondered whether to look at upping it to the 30 hours as he loves it when he's there but is quite shy in general, (hides from friends when waiting to go in for example).

Does anyone have any experience with this?
