If your child is 4 how many hours a week do they spend at pre-school?

Obviously they might be at school but if they’re 4 or will turn 4 in this academic year so will start school in Sept 3021.

My DC is doing 2 days a week 9-2.

3 hrs a day mon to Fri

DS1 has just turned 4. He goes to a day nursery 3 days a week. Same one he's been at since 8 months old, but he's in the pre-school room now, if that counts? He goes roughly 9:30-6:30 on those days.

I thought about sending him to the preschool nursery attached to the school I want him to go to, on the days I don't work, but decided not to because a) I like having time with him and b) Covid screwed up visiting, applications etc, so it's basically too late now.

4 in December. 9 to 3 Mondays. 9 till.12 Tuesday and Fridays

Dd3 is four in October. She goes to kindergarten 8:50 - 15.10pm Monday - Friday

4 in Feb, currently does Tues to Friday. Start times vary from 8.15 to 9.15 depending on work (and whether I take him before or after his brothers school run) I pick up up around 3.30/340.

Ds1 was doing 2 full and 1 half day at that stage .

Ds2 is only doing so much now so that I can fit more of my working hours into school hours, and so I dont rely on Grandparents helping.

Dd did 1.5 days at her year round nursery, and 2 mornings in a term time preschool. It was a good balance, she got 1 full day and 3 half days a week with me and her baby sister, but really enjoyed both settings and got to do far more fun stuff there than she would have at home with me and a new baby.

DD is nearly 4 and was doing 8-6 M-F pre-lockdown; the centre closes at 5 now to allow for additional cleaning.

DD is three. She does 9-3.30 MF. She loves it .
