Hello,
Middle name suggestions for Lydia please.
I love Lydia Celine but when I say it out loud it sounds like Listerine!

Lydia Kate I also love.
Irene was my dear grandmother's name ,would Lydia Irene go together??

Thanks

Lydia Grace.

My middle name is actually Elizabeth and I'd totally forgotten to see how it paired with Lydia but it goes really well, I never considered it until now.
I agree that Rose/Grace are overdone as middle names although they are beautiful! May/Mae seems to be really popular as a middle name too.

If your middle name is Elizabeth what about Lydia Eliza?

ifiwasascent · 28/09/2020 19:15

Lydia rose was the first name that came to mind! Lovely!

ifiwasascent · 28/09/2020 19:16

Sorry just seen you don't rose. Lydia Florence is gorgeous!

I do think a soft E after a name ending in A works best. Lydia Mae, Lydia Rose, Lydia Grace, Lydia Jane etc

Lydia Claire

Lydia Jane (niche 4 Weddings reference)

I liked the suggestion of Lydia Charlotte. Without telling us obviously, how do these suggestions go with your last name?
I also find the E of Elizabeth after -ia quite a hard one to get my tongue around which is a shame as they are both lovely names.

How about Lydia Beth?

We had Lydia on our list and she would have been Lydia Ruth. Such a beautiful name

36degrees · 28/09/2020 19:45

We considered Lydia Sage at one point.

Surname will be double-barrelled, starting with S.

I know a Lydia Jane. But personally (having ruled out Grace and Rose due to comments about) I like Lydia Marie.
