Cycled 10 miles to swim in a river. Even when the temperature has dropped to 9 degrees!
Swimming was the one thing I really missed in lockdown and I was so pleased to be able to join the Serpentine Swimming club. Even though the indoor pools are now open I want to see how long I can keep this up. Swimming with the swans is great!
What's your experience?

Be extatic at finding yeast and getting 2 lots and posting one to my sister.

Learn to crochet.

Enjoy having my 2 adult sons home under my feet every day for 12 weeks whilst on furlough.

Baked so many cakes, pies and biscuits.

Cried because I could not get cat food for my 4 beauties and had to feed my cats dog food.

Did not eat out for almost 4 months.

I never thought I'd manage without my cleaner. She did have to spend hours on end doing a massive deep clean up when she came back though.

I never thought I'd spend so little with no activities for DC, no eating out and NO HOLIDAY.

Missed Brexit being the most depressing thing on TV!

Cut my DH hair.
Bought flour in a job-lot 50 pound bag when it was continually out of stock at the store.
Along the same lines, bought three pounds of various yeast that live in the freezer now.
Had to stay 6 feet away from my grown dc and wear masks when we're together.
Gotten so fucking much takeout delivered!
Spent six months at home only leaving the property for doctors' appointments and testing. (I have severe coronary artery disease and my doctor advised me to stay out of public places. Thank goodness for a decent patio and biggish yard!)

Move north and relocate to another part of the Uk. I think we would have just accepted DH working away. Now we realise time together is more important than living in a more expensive part of the UK. The amazing thing is that we got a house twice the size!

Would have fully appreciated the beautiful place where I live and discovered new places right on my doorstep

Not hugged someone when I'd not seen them for months on end
