Wine and Cake Delivery

I want to send my friend a hamper/box gift delivery that just has wine and cake in it. Nothing else. It’s to tie in with a movie reference, I am also getting her the screenplay.

She now lives 300 miles away, so I can’t do it myself.

I can find services to deliver wine; wine and cheese; Prosecco and chocolate and much bigger hampers, but to have the significance I want it to, I just want “Cake, and the finest wines known to humanity”.

Anyone know anywhere I can order this combo?

I’m beginning to think that if I buy wine in cans or a box, I can post my own package, including the film script, as someone suggested uptgread.

Oh you can get truly excellent wine in a box from St John in London! One box is three bottles' worth.

Sorry, got that wrong, 3L is 4 bottles worth isn't it. Still brilliant value for a very fine wine (in a box).

@mrsm43s

I'm sure I'm missing something, but why not get a box, a couple of bottles of wine, a boxed supermarket cake (Waitrose or M&S) and a ton of bubble wrap, and pack it all up and have it delivered by courier? This way you could wrap and put the screenplay in the box too.
Yes, that's what I would do too. Then you can put in exactly what you like, present it how you want to and it's likely to be cheaper too.

You are allowed to post up to 1L of wine (so not a wine box). As explained, I’m not going to risk posting glass bottles, but I will see what I can find in tins.

@BikeRunSki
I just found this so sorry if someone has already listed it, but you can make a small hamper and choose your filling. They have red wines and various cakes.
