What do sweet potatoes go with?

I've never cooked them before but have seen a recipe on Pinterest for them that sounds nice. They're thinly sliced & baked with parmesan & thyme (and a couple of other things I can't remember).

What would/do you serve them with?

butter - not butte

I bake the sweet potatos and then fill them with cooked bacon which is crispy and broken up, cheese pop back in the oven to melt and then top with spring onions.

Well I like them as sweet potato fries but sometimes they're annoying and don't cook well. They either burn or stay soggy

I believe the key to success is not to have anything else in the oven with them and don't open the door

Cook & mash them & make them into fritters with smoky bacon, spinach and a shedload of smoked paprika. Make crispy skin fries out of the skins.
