Lovely September day here in Cornwall & I really should be out in the sun. Still, I’m not working again until Thursday so can hopefully get in a couple of beach trips. I have joined a women’s sea swimming group & am looking forward to meeting everyone soon. Worked a 5 hour shift today so enjoying chilling out whilst DD11 is at a friend’s & DH still working. Chippy tea tonight yum. I usually have cod & chips but really fancy a battered jumbo sausage. We’ll probably watch BGT & attempt to separate DD from her phone! I need to strip her bed & the dishwasher needs unloading/ loading again. A big basket of clothes to hang out too. Hey Ho! We have nice plans for tomorrow ( beach that has sea glass, lunch in the cafe there & the arcade that DD loves to visit, plus buying paint for DD’s room). I also have rather less interesting things to sort like haircuts & getting the car valeted. Oh & I might persuade DH to dye my hair. Got a new shade to try ( Iced Chocolate) & I have a fair bit of grey starting to show 😢 He really doesn’t like doing it but always does & does it well, bless him.

This morning other house went on Rightmove for sale and had to message the agent to change things a bit and he actually responded and did it.

Washing the bedding, watching Below Deck Med and will have a bath later. DH is cooking dinner a normandy pork casserole and mash and hoping will be extra cider to drink too. DD is on about outfit number 5, all dressed up and nowhere to go DS has just been between our silkie chickens, rabbits and ipad.

Thought about hoovering but can't be bothered. Sorry for those going through difficult times.

@ShinyGreenElephant We foster, back in June we moved our three year old toddler on to their forever home meaning we just had the older baby with us so when our social worker asked if we would consider an emergency placement for another baby we said yes. When they were both immobile it was quite easy but now the older baby is mobile it's...interesting (and great fun).

Very wet here today, went to the supermarket for a few things. Then had a migraine in the afternoon so took meds and went to bed. Finally shifted it, got up and made dinner which was Dal, Roast Carrots, baked Tofu and rice. Just finished clearing up and am now relaxing for 5 before I make tea and scones. DH has been enjoying the football all day si I'll read my book till this match is done then we'll watch a movie!

We've been stuck at home since Thursday awaiting a negative COVID test result for DS.

That arrived last night, so today I'm swimming, then we'll have a family swim, then DH will have his bike ride.

I might take DS to the park for lunch.

Ds1 is getting dressed for football in an uncharacteristically early fashion. Dd is in bed. Ds2 is on our bed watching tv. Pets still asleep.

Just got back from the gym and getting the coffee sorted.

First 24 hours with our new dog. Exciting but also very intense. She's a beaut though ❤️

DC are watching tv, cats are wandering about, DH has gone out for the weekend.
Apart from another attempt at DC1's school work, I have no idea what we do today. I have 11hrs to fill until I leave for my night shift at work. The day feels incredibly long right now. It's going to be warm and sunny and we can't go out.

Drinking coffee while I MN and watch Kitchen Nightmares. DH & DDog are out for a walk. Were off to meet friends for breakfast/brunch at 10 currently looking at the menu do I want pancakes/poached eggs or a full breakfast?
