Desperately need to find some sandbags to be delivered to the Torbay area of Devon for an animal sanctuary about to be flooded due to sheer amount of rain and poor drainage.

Needed for delivery TOMORROW.

HAS to be couriered by DPD as they’re the only company who are willing to go to the property as it is so remote. No other company can be considered unfortunately.

Or anyone in that area who is kind enough and able to help and has vehicular access to go with some?

This is for a charity who quite literally are up a gumtree

Lots of lovely people trying to be helpful to each other, and as a PP points out, folk aren't professionals at this particular thing.

The charity may also be very good at what it does, but still not be expert in dealing with flood and disaster situations.

OP is also not expert in PR, but knows enough not to post a name on the internet without permission.

OP, I hope they've had a good resolution, and if not that you've been able to get their permission to tell people here the name (by PM if necessary). It sounds like a very stressful situation, so I'm sure everyone's a bit on edge and panicky, but Mitzi sounds like she knows folk who might be able to help.

Well don't know what's going on now.

So I've put the sand back in the kids' sandpit and the pillowcases are back on the bed. Hummph!
