Someone’s dog barking on and off between 12-2am.

Neighbours six yr old up and jumping on beds and up and down stairs from 5-20am.

I’ve got one if headaches that feels like a tight band round my head.

Wecandothis99 · 07/08/2020 06:43

My (unborn) baby kicking and wriggling and basically attacking my bladder!!

Justjoinedforthis · 07/08/2020 06:46

A rare bout of insomnia, then just as I was drifting off baby does a rare wake up and wouldn’t go back down for over and hour, then I had a scary dream and woke up, then both kids got up early. Sick with tiredness Gahh

ginsparkles · 07/08/2020 06:49

Pain in my back and my wrist both kept me away until about 4am. Now awake and going to have to pretend I'm human for work.

Devoilmum · 07/08/2020 06:55

Worked late. Mind racing. Finally drifted off sometime after midnight. Woken at 1 as DS was going to the loo, banging doors. Almost back to sleep DS came for a hug at 1.30. Wide awake with mind racing til 4. Started a help to sleep you tube video around 4. Switched it off at 4.50 - hadn’t worked.
Must’ve slept as DS just been to wake me at 6.20. Leaving the house at 8 for a full day. I hope the car journey brings sleep and not endless dc arguments.

I have a three year old and a twenty month old and both want me in their beds. My poor dh gets kicked out so I spent the night bed hopping depending on which child woke up and wanted me then at 5am my three year old got up and wanted breakfast. This happens every night. I feel like a zombie.

gingerbeerandlemonade · 07/08/2020 07:13

Should add the children kick dh out of their beds when he tries to comfort them!

AnneLovesGilbert · 07/08/2020 07:18

Couldn’t get to sleep and just as I nodded off DD woke for a feed. I then saw every hour but 3am when I was asleep on the floor for a bit. I’m cricked and groggy.

Milwaukee02 · 07/08/2020 07:20

Woke almost every hour with hot flushes and peri insomnia. Full day ahead and knackered.

lonelywolf · 07/08/2020 07:23

Having surgery this morning and was worried I'd oversleep and be late. Usual anxieties surrounding surgery also kept me awake.

bookgirl1982 · 07/08/2020 07:35

4yo appears at midnight and at 1am hear "mummy I've had a wet accident"

thorliscious · 07/08/2020 07:39

Night before my driving test. I have 2 sets of twins. When they were younger the youngest 2 aged about 4 months were waking every 1.5 hours between them. Older 2 had sickness bug and threw up 3 times between them. Twice on the bed, once all over bathroom floor. Dp was in bed recovering from an operation and couldn't stand up long enough to help with anything.

I remember going to bed at 8:30 asleep by 9 woken up by 9:30 by 1st baby, didn't sleep the rest of the night.
By 4 am I was mopping the bathroom floor and laughing hysterically to myself. I think I had gone mad.

My head felt so tight and I also felt like I'd became ill, so decided it was best all round to cancel test. I would have been a real danger on the road that day.

We still don't all sleep 100% all night.

hippohector · 07/08/2020 07:40

My weak bladder, as always.
Despite limiting drinks before bedtime, my body seems unable to go more than a few hours without needing a wee. Then once I get back to bed I’m wide awake.
Every. Bloody. Night.
I’m only in my early forties 😫

KingOfDogShite · 07/08/2020 07:41

My night sleep wasn’t too bad but DH woke me up by farting at 6 and then sneezing in my face at 7 Angry I was having a really nice really about knocking down a wall... Blush

HarperLight · 07/08/2020 08:11

I'm 37 weeks pregnant, I started off way too hot, add constant trips to the loo.. husband snoring was horrendous.. when he finally left for work at 6 I was looking forward to a good 2 hours before the toddler woke.. but he chose to wake up at 6.30 today!
Roll on nap time at 12!

feelingdizzy · 07/08/2020 08:14

Watching the fall on Netflix ,probably not that conducive to a good nights sleepShock

BertieBotts · 07/08/2020 08:20

Almost 2 year old wants "mimi" allll night... and is a champion acrobat sleeper. And then wants to get up at 6!

AnneLovesGilbert · 07/08/2020 08:27

6 Bertie?! No need to show off about your lie in Grin

DH got up with her while I was groaning with my face in a pillow. Can’t get back to sleep so going to shuffle my way into a cold shower.

GoshHashana · 07/08/2020 08:27

I was up for a wee every two hours from 10pm until 7am. Had to haul my pregnant arse up, avoid the cat-shaped booby trap, and try not to wake DH. I guess it's good preparation for when the baby arrives!

ILoveAnOwl · 07/08/2020 08:30

We're camping. So I was either too hot or too cold. Then the youngest had a bad dream so ended up in our sleeping bag. Then the eldest fell off his air bed and had his bum on my bit of tent. Finally everyone was asleep when the eldest needed the loo. Sigh.

AriettyHomily · 07/08/2020 08:33

Fuck wit neighbours in the next street had a party until 4am. Another neighbour kept shouting at them to shut up. Then let if a very very loud air horn.

They're new. I am on the verge of complaining to the landlord. They've been there a couple of weeks, three parties and a police visit already.

Me too hippo, but I'm only 28! Don't remember the last time my sleep wasn't broken.
Valambtine · 07/08/2020 08:40

3 glasses wine last night (been a long week) couldn't get to sleep til 1am, then woken with pounding heart around 2, awake for another hour. Woken at 6:45 by husband's alarm.

I freaking hate perimenopause and my newfound total intolerance to alcohol.

Merename · 07/08/2020 08:46

Hippo and Lola, have you tried going hardcore on the pelvic floor exercises for a few weeks? Can help.

I am 3 nights in to trying to resume bedsharing with my husband after 4 years of small child rearing and musical beds survival necessity. It is so hard! He is a light sleeper and makes so much noise. I feel our relationship (and sex life) needs it but fuck me it’s exhausting and I prefer sleeping by myself Sad

jess3817 · 07/08/2020 09:13

Husband being an absolute last few weeks. Being completely unreasonable yesterday, so was awake most the night head racing thinking about it all.
