I can't believe it's £1.5 million! Would be about £350K where I am!

YorkshirePud1 · 29/07/2020 16:39

It's lovely but yeah, London property prices are insane!! Shock

GidgetGirl · 29/07/2020 16:39

Yeah, that's nice.. Apart from the living room fireplace - that's alllll kinds of wrong in a property of that age. It needs a good Deco tiled surround! I'll have this one please -

roses2 · 29/07/2020 16:42

I know this area well - you can get much bigger houses for your money! This is over priced.

sunshinesupermum · 29/07/2020 16:46

Love it! Just my sort of home. £1.5 million though :-(

Gorgeous! If I pay asking price will they throw in all fixtures and fittings too??

sunshinesupermum · 29/07/2020 16:48

GidgetGirl no way is that almost £5 million! Hate the decor and t's right in the middle of town = traffic, noise, pollution etc! You can have it with pleasure Wink

dementedma · 29/07/2020 16:48

Lovely but way out of my budget and too overlooked at the back. Round here you would get that for about 250K

Reachfortheasteroid · 29/07/2020 16:49

Nah. 1.5 and a semi? No taShock

TokyoSushi · 29/07/2020 16:49

Oh I love it, if I won a mega amount, like Euromilions or something, I would buy it just for me when I need peace from DH and the DC!

dementedma · 29/07/2020 16:50

Is that second one 5million, or are my eyes playing tricks???

Alloverthegrapevine · 29/07/2020 16:51

Isn't it a fairly ordinary semi detached house? Nice enough but hardly the thing dreams are made of. And not little either Grin

YellowandGreenToBeSeen · 29/07/2020 16:51

Shit the bed at the Soho one - a bloody lovely property and it would cut right down on my commute costs!

The NW3 one is also gorgeous.

I just love it - most of the panelling is original 18thC. Gorgeous! Shame it's not got a garden, mind.. And an even bigger shame I've not got £5mil to spare.

Rooftop gardens in Soho are amazingly quiet and that area is so lovely early morning and Sundays. Man, I’d give my right arm to live on D’arblay Street. Can totally believe it’s nearly £5mill.
Bloodybridget · 29/07/2020 16:58

I love the Hampstead one, what a gem.

dingit · 29/07/2020 16:58

Pretty house, but so overlooked Confused

chunkyrun · 29/07/2020 17:05

The price! 1.5 million would get you something like this near me

GidgetGirl · 29/07/2020 17:12

What's really amazing is that someone might consider paying £40mil for this absolute pile of ming.

That is very beautiful but no way would I pay all that to live on a street full of shops.

EachandEveryone · 29/07/2020 17:22

You see I have to think of the cats! Overlooked might be good so they cant get onto the road! I know its massively over priced but I work in Belsize park and not a day goes by when I dont think when I win the lottery..... you cant get a flat for less than 750 in Belsize. They are maddive mind you but if Im spending that much I will need my own garden😀. How my family up North would laugh at me for spending that much but seriously you can go for loveLy walks every day and frobably walk right into London through the parks.

@GidgetGirl, that house is divine! However, I could also get this for the same price:

@EachandEveryone, I hope you enjoy your bolthole.

frumpety · 29/07/2020 17:25

I do like the house but 1.5 million and only one reception room seems a bit steep.

EachandEveryone · 29/07/2020 17:26

Do yohu think if you lived in the Soho one you could get a cheap membership to Soho House?😃

OP posts:
MinnieMountain · 29/07/2020 17:46

The lodge on that one would be perfect for me @SquirrelFan. Can I have access to swim in the lake?
